I know jack shit about animation but I believe there is a way to utilize it.

Now, obviously, it doesn't work with dark background. But the last bit with bright RED and BLU almost looked fine.

Then, the effect is applied separatle frame by frame, and always in a different way (since the scene changes). This is the main problem.

Slower animation (framerate-wise) could work better. Now of course, it would be artsy stuff, not like your typical TF2 fan short. That's more or less the point of the filter.

But, yeah. Play around with it and see what it can do besides, perhaps, artistic animation, I really have no idea.

use it with stills if you really think it enhances whatever effect you're trying to achieve with the image

when you put it in motion it looks beyond silly
