I'm assuming it's from Earthbound or something like that but it still doesn't change the fact I hate it. Something just doesn't feel right about this clip.

the difference in quality of animation is due to how he learned things along the way of making it
that inspires me to try and tackle SFM, just the change in quality alone.

Look similar? Still, that was an amazing video. Makes me want to try to animate a video of my own, though I doubt i could make something that good, and it's a shame the saxxys only admit those of 5 minutes or less.

Pretty sure it was a remix from Yoshi's Island. I'm assuming it's just to break the silence of a WIP video.

I'm sorry but that just sounds like someone took all of the perfectly good music from Yoshi's Island and replaced all of the instruments with shittier ones.

but it says right there they used the soundfront from the newer Yoshi's Island, the one for the DS, which used a different soundfront to the SNES one. I don't know about you, but it sounds pretty different to me.

on a different note, you know what I've observed about stuff from Tumblr aside from gay sex? Whenever there's something that's decently drawn or made like this, the loadouts in them are usually pretty bad. Like it'll be a really good drawing of the Soldier or something, but then the Solider will be wearing a really well-drawn conquistador and a well-drawn atomic accolade with the can grenades. It's really weird.

the soundfont is new because it has been newly ripped from the game... it IS the SNES instruments

You could also visit the website of William Kage and see that the sound samples are indeed from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. All of his stuff is SNES sound samples, which further enforces the stance that it's from SMW2:Yoshi's Island.

Well shit, guess I'm wrong.
Weird as hell though, I'd swear that those were different instruments. There's just something off about the way they sound.
