Call me STAR nut, but that man inspired me to do so many fun things I probably wouldn't ever think of doing, I probably wouldn't start using beggar's bazooka and fall in love with it if it weren't for him telling me to use weapons that majority of people don't use, and hey, now soldier is my main and I don't see myself ever switching back to the stock rocket launcher.

This is why Mini-Sentries are suddenly hugely hated and Trolldier is apparently god tier. It's also why it's impossible to get a spot in a x10 server with a halfway passable ping.

Star only seems to do it if you're visibly better than he is. And he makes sure to do it in the post-death jumpcuts so nobody knows.
I don't remember which one it is, but in one of his videos if you look at the chat after a jumpcut, you can see he banned somebody who was dominating him before the cut. It's only visible for like a quarter of a second.

Ya in that video at least it looks like the case, there are several times where people ignore him or switch away from a primary to melee or something.
Well, you could count honest popular youtubers (and people in general) on the fingers of one hand. But still, the content of the prick-ish majority is usually popular for a reason. I can't really tell what STAR is like outside youtube, but honestly I don't care, all I care for is his videos and they are nice to watch every now and then.
