That's because it is.
The TFC logo to be more precise, is a reticule. The TF2 logo is a more modernized TFC logo, and tilted to the side.
So I'm trying to get back into Gmod Posing again with the new gmod. I've made two new pictures and I want some honest criticisms.

First picture, the characters are a bit too dark
Second picture looks alright, i'm just a bit nit-picky over the Demoman's hand going off screen and there being too much blank space on the right
There should be depth of field on the second one, both characters shouldn't be sharp
I'll keep those in mind for my next screenie.

Have you tried moving the bones for the belt away from the screen?

Are you using MB Looks? It kinda looks like you are, so if that's the case, throw an auto shoulder always at the end of post section at 100% like this

Wow, here I have to keep any mention of videogames to myself or my friends. I literally can't say anything about them lest I be called an abnormal social outcast by my brother and a "disconnected from reality" guy by my mother.
Meanwhile I see everyone being able to throw videogame/internet references everywhere else and have their parents laugh.

It would certainly work for static poses but what about animation? I don't want it to randomly fly around my screen. Or to have to check it's position every keyframe.

move it offscreen "hackily", then lock it to a thing offscreen once you're done with animating everything
often there's no "correct" solution for doing stuff in computer graphics, all games are to a certain extent a collection of hacks

lower exposure a little, same for contrast, and make sure your auto shoulder is set to 100% (it seems like it's 50% at the moment)
