Randomly swing your Kukuri in the direction of the enemy spawn.
get a aimbot.
Oh and quickswitch to permanently store a firearrow.
Cool I didn't know you could do that. [editline]05:40PM[/editline] Rated useful

If you feel very uncertain that you could get a head shot on a target, go for a body shot. It may not kill him, but at least you've inflicted some damage so a teammate can finish him off. Aim for the medics, especially when you see they've got an uber or kritz. You'll be credit to team. Try to aim for targets that are immediate threats to your team. Killing that heavy plowing through your lines is more valuable than getting a head shot on a scout that's on the other side of the map. Move often. Sticking around in one place is just asking for someone to kill you. In the same vein, try to pick a spot where you can clearly and often see your targets, but are not too endangered yourself. Razorback can be useful if you're a lone wolf sniper, as spies are more likely to survive long enough to get to you. Unless they have the ambassador. If you do get caught up in a sniper war, or a sniper just won't leave you alone, either move to somewhere where that sniper can't get you (as many like to snipe at the same place) or just not spend all your time looking for said sniper. Kill him, then look around for targets real fast, and check occasionally to make sure there isn't a sniper aiming at you. The kukri is a strong, reliable weapon with a good crit rate. I've once rushed the enemy with it and got plenty of kills before they got me. You probably shouldn't try that though. And finally, be aware of your surroundings. If you hear a back stab noise, then start looking around for a spy. Or if your intel is has been picked up, try to help kill the guy running off with it. Needless to say, if you're using the sniper rifle it's best to get out of the scope once in a while so you can take a good look at your surroundings.
I use the razorback, give me dumbs.
I use the razorback, give me dumbs.
Why would you use it? Most Spies will just revolver you :smith:
Rarely happens. When I get shot I freak out, jump around and go nuts. I think most spies avoid razorback snipers, especially when they're not sitting somewhere with noone around. When I play Spy, I avoid razorbacks that are "in the open". And I noticed (obviously just a feeling) that my deaths have gone down noticeably since I started using the razorback.
If I'm spy and I see a razorback sniper, I usually backstab him twice. Every time I've broken a razorback the sniper who was wearing it doesn't react. Then I backstab them with extra ecstasy because I know my victim is silently raging.
Don't forget to taunt
Haha, I never really taunt after I kill, but if it's a good wtf moment I totally should.
TRY and get backstabbed. Can't punish the willing.

Sniper's often suck at killing spies, something painfully obvious on the ones using the razorback, which makes them an easy pray for spies since now those snipers think they're immune and will therefor pay alot less attention to us :v:
1. If somebody gets near you, blindly charge at them with the Kukri. 2. Crit. 3. Win.
You can't one shot an overhealed heavy god knows how many snipers waste their time trying to do that
Yeah, I either do this or use the revolver. It gives you pretty good distance while still maintaining an almost ensured death.
You can't one shot an overhealed heavy god knows how many snipers waste their time trying to do that
Yes you can.A fully charged headshot does 450 damage.
The sad thing is, it is more efficient to use the revolver and ambassador. Basically, kiling them and mocking them at the same time.
Many enemies you can take down in two bodyshots. If you bodyshot them once don't got for the headshot the second time you go to shoot at them, just take the easy way. Shooting demomen right before then jump is not too hard (the look at the ground, slowly back straight up, then run forwards) and it causes them to be killed by the explosives most of the time. Get good at doing headshots close up, that way you can defend narrower stretches with relatively well. Don't use the huntsman unless you are on a very crowded map and the enemy is at a chokepoint.
Yeah I'll also have to give some advice that might annoy certain people, it certainly annoys the steam forum users at least. A bodyshot is fine too. Sure the best thing to do is a headshot, but sometimes being the first to shoot is better than risk getting killed while trying to get a headshot. Some people will rage at you for killing them with a bodyshot, saying it is cheap, but really, would you rather die a honorable death while trying to achieve a headshot or would you like to not die at all and kill the other sniper first :v:?
Stand on top of the bridge and totally not use your scope. [editline]09:46PM[/editline] Also, don't move: stand still if you want to win! God damn you guys have no humor at all!
no-scope all the way
Best sniper tip: Don't play sniper, and play a class that helps your team. Like medic.
Keep moving, change positions. Don't stay at a spot more than 3 kills, you'll risk getting a heavy popping up behind you.
I suggest only playing 2fort, and sitting on the battlements, sniping other snipers who aren't threats to your team. You'll distract spies from stabbing heavies. And use razorback, maybe you can kill the spies.
Keep moving, change positions. Don't stay at a spot more than 3 kills, you'll risk getting a heavy popping up behind you.
I like to do this. Oh god they look so surprised it's glorious.
Sneak up on people. Consider the rifle to almost be like a long-range backstab. The less they expect you, the more your kills usually count.
use the smg
You dont need the ambassador to kill a razorback sniper, it takes 3 revolver hits at close range to do the trick. When i let loose the first shot, even the quickest snipers cant unscope and move in time for me to fire the second shot, and by the time they actually start to engage me all they have is the kukri. shit son im already 15 feet away ready to fire the killing shot at my leisure. works slicker than shit. The only reason to use the razorback is if your;'e a huntsman sniper at the front lines, or even just with teammates covering you. it forces the spy to really concentrate on his targets and to avoid hitting the razorback. i remember when the razorbnack first came out and i was going for a huge chainstab, but i hit a razorback by accident and man i was pretty much fucked from there.. [editline]12:33AM[/editline] also jarate is really slick to counter kritzes. your teammates really start to amp up their game if there's a kritzed soldier incoming, and when you combine this with overconfidence from the enemies being kritzed, the extra damage percent jarate inflicts just might put the damage counter over the kill threshold. ive seen it become a game saver.
Revolver crits do 120 damage. i like to crit then go in for a normal stab kill, they rage SOOO much.
