Okay, so I've got a problem. Exactly month ago, I got ArmA II: CO from a guy for buds, and then gave it to my alt. Then I log back in on my alt about a month later, and it says the game has been revoked.

Coincidentally, they've been friends since the day I traded the game from the dude:

Now, I just had a conversation with the second guy, the trader:

Now, I did send a support ticket, but I don't know if it's going to work. Should I just demand my buds from the trader, and if he doesn't I report him, or will Steam support give me my buds back?
Who's responsible for the loss of my game in this mess? Is it the trader's problem, the orgininal buyer's, or mine?

I've had this situation happen to me before. All I did was take a screenshot of the trade from my inventory history.

A few days at most. Usually as soon as they see your ticket.

Contacting Steam Support is the best way to go, they helped me in this situation.

I also encourage you to make a SteamRep report. He's already tagged, but the more offenses we can document on someone, the harder it is for them to appeal them. Thanks.
