some people trade 8 for a scrap or a weapon. new crates you can maybe get a weapon for. They're really worth nothing.

They are worthless, expect for salvaged (#30) crates. Those go for 5 keys if I remember correctly.

After you put up your items, click the wishlist and select Steam inventory instead of Team Fortress 2 in the dropdown menu under the wishlist. And then look for Terraria.

Do I have to put up specific items on my end? I have a lot that I'm willing to get rid of, so I want to be able to give people a big selection... But I don't want people to think I'm trading EVERY item for one copy of the game.

There are 2 wildcards: "craft hat" and "weapon" . Put one or both of them up, or maybe some metal if you have, and then specify in the "notes" section that you are offering whatever items from your backpack.
