Regular old crates can still go for something, some people will pay a scrap each, most will buy a few for a scrap. In the end though, there's still some value there so you may as well sell them off rather than deleting them.
Certain crates such as (I think) s19 go for a bit more, as do s1 and s2. Salvaged s30 and s40 still go for heaps.
Plus, for the last couple of days I've been seeing s43 crates being bought for a fucking REFINED just because it's new. There are some idiots out there so if you get a new crate you can easily cash in.
