I wouldn't even call that haggling, that's more just bullshitting you to raise your offer. Pretty much fake C/O'ing you. No hard evidence but it's so damn obvious.

"[I]someone offer 25 but they aren't online now[/I]" - As soon as someone says something like that to me, I immediately retract my offer and delete them. I don't even wait for a response from them. If they wanna play bullshit games like that, they can miss out of my B/O, overpay or fair offer.

This only ever happened to me when I either offered to pay their B/O or made an offer any sane person simply couldn't refuse. Obviously because their logic is "Hey, he's not afraid to pay that price, I wonder if I can milk him for more..."

Proof of this is a guy puts a B/O on his trade, I add him, he pulls that same bullshit line, I tell him he can take the other guys offer and I retract mine, I delete him.
About 10min later, he adds me back and says "Look, I don't care anymore I'm quitting TF2, you can buy it". I told him I already bought one, he says nothing more and deletes me.

So wait, one guy who isn't offline by the way, makes a better offer in pure ... but he adds me back to take my lower offer? Yeah nah bullshit
