Hey all. What's up?
I'm deciding if i should buy dota 2 items with my ill earned tf2 winnings.
Hey all. What's up?
I'm thinking of playing tf2 while contemplating how small we are in the universe at 1am.
I think I'm losing control of my life.
Man, why are the people in Mann Up so impatient?
I joined this game, and they wanted me to use mad milk + fan o war rather than the pocket pistol + stock everything else I normally have (which works fine in MvM, I survive well with it and get almost all the credits, there's normally only one round max I don't A+). Now, I was fine with changing, but I didn't have those items, so I said I'd be a few seconds getting them from the Mann Co Store's trial thing.
But obviously those few seconds were too long for them and they vote-kicked me halfway through getting them.

Why would you be using anything other than the mad milk and the fan o' war/sandman as scout in mann up in the first place? :v:
But yeah people can be pretty impatient

Because I've never used fan o' war or sandman in my life and the pocket pistol is a good secondary for MvM. It's got good survivability with the no fall damage and bonus health, so I can grab credits easier, and the slight fire vulnerability gets cancelled out by the incredibly cheap fire resistance upgrades.

maybe they felt like rebelling against the system and performing the most illegal
the most taboo
the most horrendous thing that could ever happen in tf2
having fun
i know, i know. terrifying, but this is what goes on in the slums of the tf2 community
-nevermind- I will just pick a random crate.

I was in a similar scenario as a soldier on Mecha Engine. I was told I should get a buff banner because it's more useful. I disagreed, claiming a secondary weapon could save my life in a tough situation. However I decided to appease them and took their suggestion, and I grabbed a buff banner on trial off the store.
It was the best decision I ever made as a soldier. I wish I apologized to those guys because I was being a huge cunt to them. Losing the secondary meant I had no real backup weapon, but the minicrits from the buff banner are such a useful thing for the whole team it's really worth having, much like how mad milk can help slow down enemies like Super Scouts and how the fan o' war can mark enemies for death.
I'm not going to tell you how to play, but being Scout isn't always about collecting the money. If you die, and everyone else is capable of getting any dropped money, they have no reason to not collect it themselves. If our scout dies I'll usually make an effort to grab any money that I can reach before the robots introduce their metal boots to my organic arse. Like everyone in MvM the main focus should be making sure you and your team aren't getting fucked into the floor. In the event a Super Scout turns up, a mad milk could very well save your team from being defeated because he ran past everything at 8x light speed.
I know I'm not in a great place to be giving advice or shit, but you know. I wasn't comfortable using the buff banner, hell I used it rather badly at first, but now if I'm ever soldier it's always there.
Besides, not having fall damage isn't really that big of a deal in MvM I find, would it really be that big of a deal to give it up?
I mean maybe it is in which case sorry about that, but I would happily replace no fall damage with the ability to slow some pissed off Super Scout down enough for the rest of the team to blast it to hell.
Sorry for the essay. I've probably got like everything wrong with whatever points you were making (if any) and if so sorry.
I'm going to go and sleep now.

It's cool man, and I understand what you're saying. It's just, I don't not use Mad Milk because I don't want to, I don't use it because I don't have it. And since I've done well enough so far with the pocket pistol (one complete tour of advanced under my belt, 4/6 missions through my second), I haven't gone out of my way to get it by trading. I was happy to try switching to it, I'm just mad that these dudes couldn't even give me a chance to do so and vote kicked me after I said "Sure, I'll change weapons, just let me go get them from the store".

this is fun
I hope Valve adds the Steampipe system soon, this week the validation bug went out of control, after finishing with the validation I open TF2 and starts to validate again and using defragment doesn't help anymore.

I only ever got the validating bug on garrys mod, even then reinstalling it fixed it

havin a giggel there bacon? Though I do agree it's a pretty useless debuff anyway because it is so easy for Scout to just not run in to a Pyro's flames. Less so in MvM, but still moreso than the other classes.

Shit my memory's bad, I was thinking 25% for some reason. Must've got the fire rate penalty and the flame resistance penalty mixed up :v:

I never won anything on that site, even if i entered raffles where they raffle a weapon or something..
Holy shit, I just thought of a loadout that I sadly can't try out
Crafty hair + Triad Trinket = Galo Sengen?
Does anyone have this loadout? :v:
I won't boast but let's just say some people are luckier than others, especially with tf2r and leave it at that.
Appareantly I earned around a bill's in my recent trade. Woo!

How many times can someone type, "that's a lot of money :O!"?
Welp to spark some discussion what is your favorite paint color, why and what item does it look best on.

Zeph Greed looks amazing on a lot of things. This of course is completely bias as my favourite colour is green anyway.

Siding with Cape here, I really like Zephaniah's Greed.

I found a Deep Commitment to Purple looked rather nice on my Napper's Respite, and that Australium Gold went well with my Tyrant's Helm. Can't say I have a favourite paint colour though, because I like so many of them :v:
I forgot to lock my computer when going to the bathroom in class and well. My curious classmates got hold of...certain chatlogs.

Medic x Heavy erping isn't suitable for public viewing.
Be careful next time.
Green is the best colour
