Sniper rifles never have magazines of such capacity, it would get in the way of lying prone or resting it on anything. Wire stocks don't exist to be good, they exist to be folded or retractable. This appears to be neither, and would be extremely impractical for a marksmanship. As Batandy say it looks too flimsy, and you said that you might thicken it up. May I suggest that you style it more along the lines of this?

Still gives you a similar sort of look and differentiates it from other sniper rifles in-game while still looking like something sturdy enough to be able to properly brace yourself using.
I know actually making sense isn't out utmost importance in TF2, but design should at least somewhat follow the principles of actual functionality to achieve the appearance of looking like it could work.
And tbh these issues don't only seem to be issues of logistics but aesthetically I find it makes the whole thing look a little wonky. Also feels a tad stubby, though a thicker stock may help in that regard.

As for the stock i figured including details suggesting it folded would be a waste. Perhaps if we'd put some nuts near the connecting parts to suggest you'd unscrew it when not needed would be good enough?
I did try giving it a stock that attached over the grip rather than under it and i couldn't get it to look good and in fact it looked even flimsier than what this does
however seeing how you're not the only one to point out the stock i could keep tring some different ones

I know exaggeration is a big part of TF2 style but it made the proportions a little funny, I think it'll look much better once you shorten it.
In regards to the stock my issue with it wasn't so much the fact that it didn't fold, more so that wire stocks aren't really the best and putting one on a weapon meant for sharpshooting is counter-intuitive. It'd be fine if you didn't add anything to suggest it folded so long as you modelled it after a thicker type of stock, such as the SG 550 I posted.

Well firstly I think it's probably because the image links on the previous page are broken for me :V [sp]think you didn't put them in the public folder on dropbox[/sp]
And seoncdly, concept guys aren't the most needed people when making mods, there's plently of them already and with people like square and noizeblaze [sp]when he's not crying[/sp] (and void who actually textures) around you'll really have to bring quality stuff

Thanks, I actually wish I could do more but there isn't much I can do as Blender either glitches or shuts my laptop off. So these concepts are all I can do at the moment until summer rolls around.
Maybe it is the fact that I am making weapons and not hats...
Also, I have no clue how to make it 'Public' :V
