As the person who came up with the idea to label it 'ПИЩА', I can say that it's meant to be odd but in a specific way, and if it's odd in some other way then that's bad and I'm to blame. I found the word by running 'food' through a translator. The label is intended to read 'FOOD', hinting that it's a very suspicious and unappetizing blend of low-quality ingredients, made by some state-run factory that doesn't care very much for marketing. If it sounds odd in that way, then everything is fine. If the word I picked is an odd choice for any other reason, a better alternative would be very welcome. But yeah, Законсервированные seems way too long to fit.
