Just throwing this out there.
The Track Terrorizer is the most fucking clever design, holy shit.
I just sat in the SDK for like, half an hour studying it, examining it, it's just so good. I mean, I know I'm kissing ass right now, but god damn. Really branches out and shows what modelers are capable of. Inspired me to keep practicing.
robo soldier on the soldier's animations
I made it just for a mod preview I was making, so I spent like 5 seconds
which brings me to the mod:

robo soldier skin based off of the concept found in the sfm files

Naw that there's a mighty fine miscellaneous item, lemme tell youh. 100% white-man produced quality.
How did you get so good? Did you just practice all the time or did it come naturally? Got any tips/tutorials?
I tried using Edge Split, turned out quite well.

Now use it on the bottom
Tried to help. got a bit sidetracked.

thank you for this, i was wondering what i should do about its blandness, and a collar would help quite a bit, i was also thinking something along the lines of, a "shirt" that covers the parts of the default vest that show through
Thank you for doing this, but you didn't have to go to complicated, you could just make it an extension of his current vest just like your first iteration (its perfect) and there could be a tear where his ammo pouch is, as for color you could just make it match his vest or whatever design you want. Thank you again.
thanks for the imput, the overcomplication is so it doesnt clip with the front of his legs, the second image is more or less reference for how i wanted it to look after jigglebones the pouch however i wanted to be covered so that the "pocket pets" would go inside the pocket instead of the pouch being torn through
as for the first iteration, the whole default vest and jacket part are one single model, i modeled it that way because when you do attachments to the default mesh tends to look bad in my opinion mainly because the normals dont line up perfectly, or there are texture color inconsistencies
so... yeah, its flared out at the moment so it can be jiglebone'd properly when its jigglebone'd i want it to look like my first iteration... wich is below

but teamcoloring will have to be figured out on the coat itself, in a recognisable and fasionable way
The Helslinger.
Also, does anyone remember the Van Mundy sniper set made from NOTLU in 2011? any chance someone can re-compile the hat and gun for say Trophy belt and Bazaar Bargain? I remember the crossbow doesn't replace the piss gun very well.
if not, could you point me to a program or guide on how to DIY? :3
EDIT: Here's a Page King usual requirement.

Well, the jacket is complete! I removed the cuffs to reduce the polycount and stop the severe amount of clipping going on with his hands and arms.

The transition from the jacket to the existing coat looks very noticeable.

Fair enough, well whatever you do the first iteration will always look the best to my eyes, but i'm curious on how you will get the jiggle bones to cooperate properly, because it looks like when he will run the front part of his jacket will clip through his legs, i'm no modeler
for sure but is there a way to make the front part rigged to his legs and have the back part have some nice weighted jiggle bones on it? like when he crouches the coat will hang down. (trying to sound as smart as possible. will it succeed?)
its intended, as its a chef jacket, and its usually noticeable on those:

at least, that's the case with the ones I've seen, and the ones i based it off.
Nah man, it looks like cardboard glued to the default jacket.
And it looks kind of bad the way the buttons don't match up in my opinion, especially when compared to that reference.

its a chef's scarf.
This set's silly, you should just turn it into a nice military coat

Like the one you were going to do? *crosses arms*
[sp]not serious at all[/sp]
Mine would have been way sillier than this!
This set's silly, you should just turn it into a nice military coat
As I've stated plenty of times before, its intended as just a for fun mod set. Merczy even agreed to work on this set under the incentive of it being purely mod based. If Merczy submits it is entirely up to him, but i'm not changing the theme of the set just because you guys can't stand a silly mod.
Mine would have been way sillier than this!
Well, all I did was draw that one, I shouldn't be the bossy one here :v:

The whatever the name is for the golden regal thingy on Medic looks like cardboard glued to the default jacket too.

Ok, got this ingame. Do you now believe that Engi is in a secret fraternal organization that runs all of TF2 land? Yeah me neither.

The cloth folds make it look kinda photo-realistic.

Ive gone back and forth on that detail. Ive always liked the way the KGB looks with the folds in the normal map so I kept it.

Wow. I've been thinking of pretty much that exact same coat design, only for Medic.
I get home from work to see I have 1 new comment.
The person said "congratulations", it seems rather random, especially since I dont know of any new images valve has released as a teaser, not to mention the model in question is nowhere near good enough to be in game (it was one I last updated a year ago).
The model in question: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=7002
[sp]I should probably redo that model again and maybe try to come up with a set based around blacksmithing[/sp]
