decided to make some new knives for the knife eyes. also did the blood, but it looks kinda blobby.
So my sniper rifle reload animation looks like this now.

Anyone else had this problem?

Finally managed to unwrap this rifle

Jogging pants for Demo. supossed to have different styles as taken from hat taxtures, but the Tam O Shanter looked weird on the concept, so I left it like this.
Reserved for Bapaul
Is it possible to Edge Split in Blender without creating a crapload of new vertices? There are doubles all over.

Don't apply the modifier
Is there another way to do hard edges in blender?
Flatshading results in hard edges, but it applies to faces as well so the lighting will look and blocky.
Don't apply the modifier
That would require Edge Splitting the entire model, and I don't want that. I can Edge Split the edges I want, but it creates extra vertices.
Does anyone here know who's making the Skullgirls Promo?

what are you even talking about
just don't apply the modifier. the edges you've selected will be split, not every edge ever.

For example, I selected these edges.

I add the modifier, and...

untick "Edge Angle"
I did, now nothing happens at all. No edges are split.
Make sure you are marking edges as sharp and not marking them as seams
Oh hey I'm supposed to mark them as sharps? Well then.
I placed those seams on purpose.
I did, now nothing happens at all. No edges are split.
Try setting the angle to 45.

mark all edges you want to be sharp, then ctrl + E and "mark sharp", this function won't add further vertices.
I think I did it, I'll try importing it to see if it worked.

:DDD
hey guys the spirit of giving whats the model name?
xms_allclass_giftbadge

I still need to figure out how to make the badge part blend in with the rest of the shirt. I've used the exact same color as the Scout's base shirt, the .vmt's are pretty much identical and it is as close to the body as I can put it.
I Revamped the rocket launcher. I made it so it wasn't clipping with his helmet, I made the knobs and the gauge higher poly because octagonal knobs and gauges make no sense. I then made the Mann Co. logo an indentation/engraving because the last one was a bunch of protruding nonsense.

I'm also fixing smoothing.

your model needs more than hard edges to look good, im afraid
What can I improve?
It's still a WIP, I need someone who can rig and/or texture it.

A costume like this one for the spy ,with a pocket watch (a dead ringer) visible.
That actually could bang with some hats.
