I'm guessing someone saw Django Unchained recently? Love the texture on it, I have wanted a shotgun/sniper rifle based on a Winchester for ages now.

Not as good as your usual textures imo, the wood doesn't feel like part of TF2 and the moustache is nasteh
Loving the hell out of the gold pattern. I agree the wood could be defined slightly better (and the handle looks slighty deformed, is that just the angle?) but it's excellent thus far.

To be fair, wood does tend to warp over time, would make sense considering the age of the gun
and here's stuff about Teddy's preference in hunting rifles. dude was a gun man, but I don't think a Henry rifle is particularly relevant. it was already obsolete before his time, actually

If it is a weapon that is usable by more than 1 class, it is impossible to make the model replace it for a specific class only.

Do you have a suggestion for the type of wood in tf2 I should mimic? I didn't work off any precedent, that's true. Should I make it scattergun wood?

Much better from that angle but still quite odd, I think it needs less phong n rimlight maybe, and somehow vaguer brushstrokes, those are way more defined than other facial hairs in TF2. I think the wood has the same problem.
