how do i replace stuff like the pyros head or his grenades when modeling a replacement? is there a way i delete them off the model or do i just make them slightly bigger than the regular grenades/head?
subtle little additions
how do i replace stuff like the pyros head or his grenades when modeling a replacement? is there a way i delete them off the model or do i just make them slightly bigger than the regular grenades/head?
delete them from the reference mesh
delete them from the reference mesh
so when i delete them, do i have to recompile the whole model without the parts i deleted, or do i just have to compile the item i made?
so when i delete them, do i have to recompile the whole model without the parts i deleted, or do i just have to compile the item i made?
compile the item, bodygroups work through server code
so when i delete them, do i have to recompile the whole model without the parts i deleted, or do i just have to compile the item i made?
If you're trying to make a head or grenade replacement and you want to test it in game, just mod your model to replace an existing item that hides the default head/grenades
Sword is done. How do I give the handle more polies though, it looks a bit lacking. Also deleted the mask and I'm gonna try making a more Strider Hiryu styled one.
Hey guys, sorry to clutter up the thread (as usual) but I was wondering if someone could please make this: http://tf2.gamebanana.com/skins/75705 Compatible with the Voodoo Souls: Love will be given <3
I'd be done with this if blender would bloody copy my god damned weights like I told it to but for some reason it just wont.

another question. when making a uv of a model thats duplicated a bunch, is it ok to place each uv over each other to save space? or will that screw it up some how?
If it's exactly symmetrical it's no problem. When baking your AO do move all the layered islands 1024px (or whatever size you bake on) upwards, otherwise blender will get your all kinds of artifacts on them
Hey, is that FPS re-animation project still on?

If it's exactly symmetrical it's no problem. just curious if anyone has a musical note particle effect handy, ready for attachment wouldn't mind using it, its only for a mod. its not going on workshop or anything.

Did anyone created something like that yet? It would be great as replacement for Bills, Max's head and all that kind of stuff.
thoughts?
Definitly amazing I always loved the pseudo realistic look of the medic primaries, sa fuckin beatifull and functionnal !
thoughts?
Is the concept for a melee? it seems like the blade should be slightly bigger to me, but i love it either way
