So here's what the SMG ended up looking like after the stream: Still got a few things to work on.
I honestly think it's already perfect
I honestly think it's already perfect
some parts are still almost completely naked in terms of strokes and highlights, mostly small and odd parts I weren't able to identify right away

Meh? [t]http://i.imgur.com/aEWpMhT.png[/t]
So i stumbled across an old concept of mine, its a bullet ridden cap with a custom headpiece: so i decided to remake it because i felt as if i could do a better job, and this is the result: comments and crits are welcome.
it would be cool if someone replaced the robot lines with the gang-garrison esque voice sounds and changed the mvm music to chiptunes also i wonder what happened to the turning the nintendo 64tress models into robot replacements
Unrelated, but does anyone know where I can find the actual good model for the Last Breath? I mean the actual high poly submitted model?
BANG!, are you there? I see you, I see you reading. ItemToast is a fucking god send. Thank you. [editline]8th February 2013[/editline] [t]http://i.imgur.com/Msx5P47.png[/t] How's it looking? I've think I've settled on the name "Degroot's Dirty Darts." Can't decide if the photo is gonna be Soldier (what I want), Engineer (what the concept guy wants) or Spy (sort of a mutual choice). Thoughts so far?
Can't decide if the photo is gonna be Soldier (what I want), Engineer (what the concept guy wants) or Spy (sort of a mutual choice). Thoughts so far?
If you could put a general image that represents the Demo's hatred for anything with two eyeballs that'd be pretty funny (prancin aboot with yer heads full of eyeball). Also, you should just have the different pictures as styles if you can't decide. Soldier would be best if you had to choose only one.
Matching Scattergun: to clarify, this and its matching hat and misc are open for claiming.

I gotta be honest, I... Is this, that? Did I fuck up something? [t]http://i.imgur.com/gHHDyUb.png[/t] Pretty sure that's not my thing. Edit: Okay, I know for a fact that's not my thing. I still don't know what I'm doing, but I know for a fact I'm not doing what I need to be doing.
Tired of searching models through the terrible HLMV browser? tired of editing the registry to attach multiple models to a TF2 character? No more! TF2MV will do it for you in a few clicks! Easily pick items from the item schema to attach to a character, you can also define custom model path! Why not make a scattergun with a wide nozzle at the bottom that you can say the the Alternate Fire sprays Mad Milk at the cost off a fully loaded gun? Like a Scattergun version of the Sydney Sleeper.

Also, The Misc: Combat boots, pockets, a bandanna and a holster.

And just wondering, Why do the most of the items spawn painted white?
Thank you so much for this, I could really use this in the loadout request thread. And just wondering, Why do the most of the items spawn painted white?
Unfortunately HLMV just doesn't recognize the paint parameters, you'd have to have the VMT of each of these items copied in the TF2 game directory and edited with the VMT parameter "$color2" to force the paint color be applied and appear in HLMV. I might add a function in the tool so it finds each model's VMTs, copies them to the tf2 directory and edits temporarly and then you can update each item paint color from TFMV but its quite tricky.

And just wondering, Why do the most of the items spawn painted white?
The VMT for most items has to be edited with the $color2 line in order to actually show paint: http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Template:Painted_variants/Tutorial#VMT_Editing Edit: Dammit Bang
Because aside of being the stupidest stat suggestion I've ever heard, it doesn't really fit the theme of an olive drab army/rebel set.
I guess so, But I feel that as a scattergun is a bit lame. Maybe add a useless iron sight or something else for some uniqueness. The scatter should match that epic hat you made and this feels bland. Just being honest.
