I plan to completely redo the form with tables.
I plan to completely redo the form with tables.
:suicide:
:suicide:
Tables are horrible for website layout, but they're perfect for form alignment. In fact, it's one of the times where using tables is a great idea. I don't mind you sticking around and commenting, but stop trying to act like you know about web design. :smug:
but stop trying to act like you know about web design. :smug:
:iceburn: also i completely agree with the fact that tables are bad, but are useful when aligning forms [editline]08:26PM[/editline]
looks really good so far! i have a couple ideas for the upload page though:
quoted for page 9
The class images are sort of obnoxious/obtrusive, but I may consider changing the checkboxes to the class icons when I get around to re-creating the form with tables.

You shouldn't use tables for forms, tables are for representing data. Forms are piss easy to style/align with some simple CSS.
-;21451818']You shouldn't use tables for forms, tables are for representing data. Forms are piss easy to style/align with some simple CSS.
this would work too, also congrats on the 1,990th post!
are skins allowed or is it just custom models
are skins allowed or is it just custom models
I'm pretty sure it's both, as well as sound files.
im now expecting somebody to make that snake into a hat for the engineer
[editline]06:21PM[/editline]
i personally think you should center the register button and add some tf2 styling to it
I don't really like how large the class icons are, maybe you could try using some icons from here: http://steamcommunity.com/games/TF2/Avatar/List
I don't really like how large the class icons are, maybe you could try using some icons from here: http://steamcommunity.com/games/TF2/Avatar/List
you mean from this picture? [img_thumb]http://tdoyle.me/img/files/what.png[/img_thumb]
I still think thats better than check-boxes.
I still think thats better than check-boxes.
yeah, hopefully he'll change it
Why not just have something like this? Re-size it to be a bit smaller, and still allows it to be recognised.
Why not just have something like this? Not too big, not a checkbox and still allows it to be recognised.
i still prefer the full class body
True, I guess. Maybe just have them a bit smaller and that might be better.
if Galago even uses the class icons instead of check boxes then he can resize them as he pleases, the picture i posted is just what i think it should look like
Fair enough :v:
you mean from this picture? [img_thumb]http://tdoyle.me/img/files/what.png[/img_thumb]
Yeah, sorry. I probably should have quoted that.
Yeah, sorry. I probably should have quoted that.
That's not mine. I'll probably use the 64x64 class profile icons with checkboxes underneath.
That's not mine. Update, ahoy! Nothing really new to see here, but it's coming along well. I've got my friend working on the site, now that the HTML/CSS is mostly finished. So far (maybe 1 or 2 days of work), he's completed the user login back-end, front display page, and a few other things. Things are looking good. Hearts, damnit. :argh:
