Who's really that bad that they need to pay people to lose though, I mean if you were to just challenge any random person in a server you'd probably come out on top bar the odd few.

It's quicker to pay someone and you get to keep a perfect win record. No wonder it appeals to people.
I for one never duel. Been challenged a couple of times, never accepted. I'd rather focus on capping.

I'd only duel if there was no random chance in damage, no crits, no enemies fucking up everything, no chance of dc'ing or being autobalanced, and no chance my opponent would get a kill and hide in spawn for the rest of the game.
Which is why I've duelled once.

Yeah that's why I don't duel, still though, getting the medal by paying someone to lose just makes the medal worthless.

Don't listen TF2TP or SPUF they want to downgrade value of V.Crit-a-cola.
Same with Ellis' cap did... they said It's worthless (max. 1 reclaimed) but I sold for 1 refined or 1 bad hat , UHHHH).
