Unless it's unusual ofc, but if I happen to open an unusual box with their key then I'd obviously gift them generously. Just throwing it out there. I seemed to be plagued now with crates. I just reread your post and what I highlighted makes no sense. If you don't care about hats, why would you keep the unusual? And if people are going to be donating keys, you wouldn't be able to keep it regardless, as you're saying you'd give it to the person who donated the key.
I obviously want to profit from this. :smug: Tho if I do end up unboxing an unusual, I'll give the other crates away.

Go to one of the unusual trade servers, people usually trade them in bulk for refined there. Last trade I overheard and saw was 25 crates for 2 refined, but be careful with scammers and multiple trades.

Actually, Valve have said this is OK, but they won't support you if you get scammed.
So it's only worth trying if you know the person gifting.
