Sparkwire makes nice mods, but he's incredibly stubborn. I stand by my opinion and regret nothing.
He's incredibly childish, I don't think I've ever seen him being serious.
Is he going on and offline just to avoid you?

Insaneicide: sorry, my connection is a bit wacky
[editline]2nd June 2011[/editline] Why are you guys even talking about me, I have nothing to do with anything.

dude, my connection has issues, its mostly fixed now, and for some reason even though i messaged you after i got it back u never responded. i personally want to know if i can use your barrel files, and if you can add them to the folder if not, then im removing you from all thing oldschool pack related, i have tomorrow off, and i will be able to dedicate my entire day re-making everything you did, sure its a blow to the development, but its an addition to cooperation.
I swear to god, this'll be the best pack when it's released. If it'll be released that is?
I swear to god, this'll be the best pack when it's released. If it'll be released that is?
If is not the question i will see it through to the end with or without sparkwire
In spite of your incredibly rude attitude, I will give you the barrels. [editline]2nd June 2011[/editline]
If is not the question i will see it through to the end with or without sparkwire
Like you've been doing for the past two years, right?
I really hope the finished product gets added to the game as a "retro mode" option or something you can select in the video settings. Maybe it could even be forcefully turned on instead of Birthday Mode on August 24! What better way to celebrate the release of the original Team Fortress mod?
In spite of your incredibly rude attitude, I will give you the barrels. [editline]2nd June 2011[/editline] Like you've been doing for the past two years, right?
well, i have been continuing it over the summers, and well into the next school year, you cant blame me when i go so far as to fall behind in schoolwork just to get the next piece done, this year was no different, i could only go as far as the war update, then all progress halted, because i fell so far behind in school that i needed a hiatus from all things gaming, but not for long as i am constantly getting requests to continue the project, i only asked for help on this last leg, because i would be able to be more involved, i didnt expect the turn out to be so big to be honest, gamebanana didnt even bat an eye when i asked for help, and i am extremely gratefull for all of those that actually wanted to help out, two years yeah, it was a simpler time back then, not filled with all this drama, and it was taken seriously as a collaboration, because we all shared files, as they got done, first on mediafire, then on dropbox (which made things WAY easier than the old days). maybe progress has been slow, but you gotta admit, for most projects that just die out, at least i picked it back up when i planned to.
I managed to come across Hideous' profile. Brb telling him his hat is awesome jk :v:
Is he going on and offline just to avoid you?
It's steam being very whacky. It's happening for me, too.
Can't we have ONE tf2 modding thread without drama?
Can't we have ONE tf2 modding thread without drama?
Drama's the core of all Facepunch-based modelling communities. It's science!
well, i have been continuing it over the summers, and well into the next school year, you cant blame me when i go so far as to fall behind in schoolwork just to get the next piece done, this year was no different, i could only go as far as the war update, then all progress halted, because i fell so far behind in school that i needed a hiatus from all things gaming, but not for long as i am constantly getting requests to continue the project, i only asked for help on this last leg, because i would be able to be more involved, i didnt expect the turn out to be so big to be honest, gamebanana didnt even bat an eye when i asked for help, and i am extremely gratefull for all of those that actually wanted to help out, two years yeah, it was a simpler time back then, not filled with all this drama, and it was taken seriously as a collaboration, because we all shared files, as they got done, first on mediafire, then on dropbox (which made things WAY easier than the old days). maybe progress has been slow, but you gotta admit, for most projects that just die out, at least i picked it back up when i planned to.
And, an extra record here: if it wasn't for the MANN CONOMY Update and the stupid amount of community hats, I guess that this MOD would already been done for a wile.
Can't we have ONE tf2 modding thread without drama?
Drama makes modding TF2 interesting damn it! Drama is like the electricity or some shit of Modding, it is what keeps it going.
that pretty much what cacti are.
Cucumbers are simply shaved cacti.
The real fun will be if this mod makes the perfomance worse.
Excuse me, may I ask if we're/you're going to used my Resized default lightwarp?
I will use it for the lowpoly. just dunno if it will enter to the pack. (probably will. I really think Insaneicide liked it)
Excuse me, may I ask if we're/you're going to used my Resized default lightwarp?
i liked it, its resized so that saves something, not sure what to be honest, just about everything we have done makes the frame rate jump here and there, some systems that get 12 fps go up to 30 and above, those that get 30 already then got up to high 60's and even higher than that. to be honest i think if we pointsample it, it might do something amazing
I managed to come across Hideous' profile. Brb telling him his hat is awesome jk :v:
don't you dare joke about these things, you comment or you DIE
I just found that low-poly soldier's head has a little wrong shape. Maybe change it?
I just found that low-poly soldier's head has a little wrong shape. Maybe change it?
well, thats why the models are included, they dont have all the right shapes but, are more on the large side for the hitboxes, and so you can see them at farther distances, you gotta point that they are on the larger side, but thats why i gave them to you gys for positioning and general consistency. also i may have found out why my connection is buggy, CHECK YOUR ROUTERS PEOPLE you can get a virus on those.
don't you dare joke about these things, you comment or you DIE
Actually today I clicked "Send Message" by mistake because the comments were blocked :v: But seriously it is awesome, it was one of the hats I was going to buy but then I got one by... other means Also, reclicked "send message", since you want me to comment... :v:
So how exactly is this coming along? How much has been gotten done?
Excuse me, may I ask if we're/you're going to used my Resized default lightwarp?
I think a 16/8bit light warp would fit the texture style better

Funny how he got disagree'd on the original and winner'd when he had the beta models.
here it is on the medic
I like it more.
i like it, my issue is that the shadowed parts between the pinkish colors need to be closer, so its close to the default, bit not as pink. (unless it looks bettwe in motion.)

(unless it looks bettwe in motion.)
it probably weird looking 'cuz some kind of polygon properties issue on the model. anyway, it fits perfectly IMO. if it could be improved further, it would be great. if not, that's ok.
