The festive knife messed up all model replacements for the knife.
i can't seem to find the beta skins that go with it and god knows i need them

Is there a more up-to-date download than the link listed in the first post from 2011? All of the dropbox links in the last 2 pages give me 404's. More specifically, any link to download the pack that has the demo and soldier feet fix

GOOD NEWS i have finished my final exams and will now be pulling an all-nighter, with new player models that work with the default hats, sorry to say, the old-school hats will no longer fit, but, this will be the "bugless" version of the pack, i will probably be finished .... probably, tomorrow morning, (lets say, 6-10 AM PST) i will have both flat fingers, and square fingers working and compatable with the default hats. after-which i will release new sources for people to make hats for.... but i would prefer weapons be made first, thank you for the support, and hangin in there during the content/update drought.
agghh nooo my hats but no I agree this way of doing things makes far more sense, will just be very painful redoing hats like the Modest Pile and it's many many variants (9 classes x 6 styles (including ribbons) = 54 recompiles to do

How can people help out with the project still? I'm guessing you guys need newer weapons remodeled to be low poly, right? I really want to get this project working again. My brother's computer could definitely use this.

My brother's computer could definitely use this.[/QUOTE] i would post up what weapons need to be done, but i would also go overboard and do all the hats, and any little things that also need to be done, so untill i get that done. just to be safe.... i think.... any weapons after The Australian Christmas update has to be modeled and textured and i will be getting back to you guys on those new updated non-glitchy player models later..... erm... this morning for me [sp]total progress so far... i finished restoring the flat finger heavy along with his new headshape the medic has the new fixed elbow, and headshape, i have not finished restoring the flat fingers as for the rest..... sorry i work in alphabetical order with these things. and the pyromania update completely took my focus... i really wanted more piles of ash...only got 2... ....hecates got 5...[/sp] loves ya ;P
Hi there!I love this pack, not just for FPS boost, but I've grown accustomed to the way it looks. I played on a nice machine with high settings the other day, and I just couldn't get into it because it didn't have your old school models that I love so much. I was just wondering... I can't seem to decapitate anyone. Is this gonna be worked on? I know it's not that big of a deal... But I wanna see heads roll!!! Apparently a decapitation is actually the models head shrunken to an incredibly small size, and a new gibbed head is spawned by itself to give the appearance of decapitation, so I'm guessing that's why it hasn't been implemented yet.
So, as I have no main computer to play Steam games on, especially Team Fortress 2, I'm often switching between other lower-end computers in my house. Among these computers, one of them is helped extremely by using this pack, a blocky textures pack I found on the internet, and a Max Frames autoconfig file. So far, the worst offender to this pack aesthetically is how shoe items, which almost all classes have now, stretch out into a distorted beams starting from a character's feet. Will we see an update to the player models fixing items parented to the feet soon? I would love to see it fixed asap. And thanks again for the extra frames!
There's a few more offenders than that actually. I think backpack items and the intel also are all broken right now on the Oldschool player models. Those have to be fixed, as intel sits under the character models and stuff like the Scrap Pack floats over-head. Another thing is that I think the Blighted Beak only has one of it's texture styles redone, as I use Yersinia Pestis (Style 2), and it is just completely colored green rather than the brownish-tan style 2 uses. Also, the grenade bodygroups for Soldier and Pyro work, but are there any for Demoman? Becuase his grenades remain when using something like Ornament Armament. I actually do want to start modelling some stuff for this pack, I just need some motivation.
alright, guys, i have a plan to get people working on this intensively again, and its gonna piss some people off, and ill be working on it all night, so be prepared personally its going to be really funny, but, nonetheless im doing it, and i want you to think of it as a kind gesture to move along and start working on it, i have been compiling a spreadsheet with full details of whats getting done, and whats being done, (as of today, nothing) in all seriousness, i cant wait to see your reactions on what im doing right now
