I am really glad that this project hasn't been abandoned, my cpu runs tf2 fine, but I love the look of the models and everything, I have always been a sucker for old school video game stuff.

It's less stress on the PC then having those weapons keep their high poly models.

Are there any screenshots of the new content in the newest version of the Oldschool pack?
I so can't wait for the next Valve release "GoldSource Filmmaker"
Please do the degreaser or phlogistinator next! I had to delete the Phlog replacement model, it was getting confusing.

Please rip the Rocket Launcher from Quake for the Original replacement.

Lodsalove.[/QUOTE] thank you, but i SERIOUSLY need help, i got Kaymon95 tryin to pitch in, lemme see here (research time) the serious numbers are: Hats: 235 Misc: 125 Weapons: Approx 160-180 (going off the entries in the weapons category which is 190 on the official wiki take away all the scrapped weapons and the taunts, it MIGHT be 175 or something like that) but in total its well over 400 models to make and texture, and since i only have had any REAL contact with hecates gaspar and Kaymon, it would be split between the three of us, and me and hecates are Exclusively a modeler/texturer respectively so yeah, if anyone can help, let me know, ill evaluate you, and if its good enough itll get added immidately, and ill add you to the dropbox, and hopefully get you started on a set

I nearly failed basic 3D modeling classes in school simply because of that.. Either way, I think it would be worth your thoughts to just go ahead and remove the hats entirely. It would cut down on a serious amount of work, and you can add the hats back in when they're done. Doesn't that sound like a good idea?

Doesn't that sound like a good idea?[/QUOTE] right, thats why i did the weapons as so, if i wanted the hats done i would figure out a way to make a red box for all the hats and all the miscs, but since the main focus is weapons, i made it so... most of them were red (replacing that many weapons with red ones got to me, and all this virus BS aswell)

But to cut down on work, and the clashing of the current High-poly TF2 hats, and the low-poly models, I think replacing the hats with defaults/hatless entirely would both up framerate, and work as a placeholder until the hats were done. But, still, focusing on the weapons is nice to hear. I have a link to a NoHat modification I used a while back, and still works, if you wish to use it as a placeholder. (Or just avoid playing it until You finish updating that as well.) Take your time, Insaneicide, the people who want/need this have waited this long, we can wait a little while longer.
