well, i dont have one.... i dont know their directory, nor do i wanna fuck up the models, so my "official" plan is to finish my zombies, and make them wok with those but as soon as the announcement came out, all i could say was... Fuck...
Maybe you could put the regular player skins OVER the Machines and just make them gray. I'm not sure with these things but those giants are probably the only thing you'll have to work on really.
making all the weapons red was a really bad idea Grey or something would make more sense, but for obvious reasons red and blue are really bad choices
making all the weapons red was a really bad idea Grey or something would make more sense, but for obvious reasons red and blue are really bad choices
thought about the team color implications, but i couldnt think of any other colors at the time my initial idea, was to have a flashing rainbow colored mess of a texture, that obviously distaracted everyone and would cause siezures, and epilepsy madness, but i decided not to go that route
Oh no, it broke! Come back Insane please! I want to play fast!
Yes please I rely on this to get decent fps on my POS laptop, there must be an easy fix to replace the models again. Currently researching to fix myself if possible.
Oh no, it broke! Come back Insane please! I want to play fast!
what happened, seriously, do you just gotta reinstall? most updates "break" the models, more often than not its okay to just re-install
what happened, seriously, do you just gotta reinstall? most updates "break" the models, more often than not its okay to just re-install
Welp, I reinstalled tf2 completely and pasted the models in just like before, but it's still using the high poly models. weapons and items are still low poly though, so something might have changed. Anyone else having trouble after MvM update? Any ideas appreciated.

Scratch it not working I tried pasting again and they're all back to low poly! I suggest going Duskard's route instead that was a hell of a wait! Not sure what caused them to stop working in the first place though...
Alright, first person models are still high poly but everything I see is low poly. Although the bots really don't take that big a toll on my fps those bloody scout rushes EAT my fps. Nothing special pageking. :v:
shit, that means i gotta take a look at it.... probably something ridicilous like some useless bone added.... :p
can someone post how to install the poly pack please
my scout replacements were changed to default for the mvm patch, which might mean they changed something with the model.
Texture the weapons please. Also, give unique models for the Liberty Launcher and stuff. It's confusing when you're using the same models for other weapons. Finish the weapons first, fix the viewmodel bugs, then finish the hats.

Are the zombies still gonna replace the robots? That'd be pretty awesome.
Are the zombies still gonna replace the robots? That'd be pretty awesome.
thats the plan, which is why this aint gonna get touched for a while, me and everyone else are working on NOTLU stuff ...speaking of, im gonna be releaseing of some pics of the zombies soon, so watch out for those
We can't let this project die, I can help with texturing if anyone needs it
Errr, quick question, would this help your FPS, or lower it?
Errr, quick question, would this help your FPS, or lower it?
Help. Something to do with like, load times i think. I dunno. But it'd help.
Help. Something to do with like, load times i think. I dunno. But it'd help.
The amount of polygons rendering or something. It helps me at least 15 fps.
Stupid newbie question here.. how do I install it? :v:
lemme see here... for the newest one, open your steamapps/USERNAME/teamfortress2/TF/ folder and drag the material models and scripts folders into that folder
We can't let this project die, I can help with texturing if anyone needs it
Yes Pl0x
lemme see here... for the newest one, open your steamapps/USERNAME/teamfortress2/TF/ folder and drag the material models and scripts folders into that folder
Could I just drag the whole folder into it?
Could I just drag the whole folder into it?
no, then your file structure is all fucked up, the materials models and scripts folders belong in the TF folder, not the TF/Oldschool_pack_early_release foldier
Hey I'm confused about the whole zombie robot thing. Is that for this pack??? How does that make sense? IDK if your talking about a different pack or what, can't find it anywhere. Sorry. Not familiar with any of your other work.
