help
I've noticed that while using the pack. That only happens on class selection and loadout screens. It's nothing to worry about, ingame it shows up properly.
Ok, so i assume its very easy to model for this mod, and i'd love to contribute, does anybody have a link to free modeling software? Edit: How is this dumb :v:
Blender is free, and apparently decent. I have no clue about anything ever related to modelling though.
where do you even find the models in the tf2 folder at i was going to fool around with one or two in blender but didnt know where they were
The default files are located in the .gcf files. In this case, team fortress 2 materials.gcf you can open those files with GCFScape. But one think, you can open those models, since they are already compiled, you need to uncompiled them with another tool. And I don't think that is fun.
How do I install these?
How do I install these?
Drop zip content into tf folder. Probably this is your path to this folder C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\*yoursteamusername*\team fortress 2\tf Merge folders if it asks you to.

You'll never notice a difference. [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/37053675/LowPolyLibertyLauncher7.png[/t] [sp]It's so bad.[/sp]
You'll never notice a difference. [sp]It's so bad.[/sp]
Looks a lot better than the official model.
I'm getting big ol' red X explosions whenever I shoot the shotgun, whats up with that?
I'm getting big ol' red X explosions whenever I shoot the shotgun, whats up with that?
I got that too for a while, it's something wrong with the particles I think. If you just go into your TF folder and delete the Particles folder, the game will revert to using the normal particles, and it'll stop making red X's. I'm also redoing the hell out of the low poly Liberty Launcher texture. It was terrible compared to the others.
Maybe you should straighten your UV up a bit more to maximise your UV efficiency, the wooden part looks pretty curvy, possibly wasteful. Should be previewing without texture filtering too, hard to really tell how it looks with that blur on it.

A lot of pixels didn't align right, but I fixed that. hey would ignoring the bodygroups and making all the hats invisible be possible? so if the soldier's hat bodygroup is active he still keeps his hat I dunno but it kinda would be a nice option to have, cause like when I tired this thing out some of the hats were like floating in people's heads and stuff btw I like the atmosphere this pack gives off, it's really neat

(which are the only ones done atm)
So... those broken dropbox links awhile back. Here is a link to one of them. I don't know if they're in the pack or not, but it has the new hands and stuff.
Look what picture popped up on Yahoo news http://games.yahoo.com/blogs/plugged-in/17-big-games-play-free-203604750.html?code=AQDGbvLcA9OnJtO2R7NNCC77favwsKlgDXHSoGqoT4Yryc0u-TUY3--njCe1BoTaaFiCgTiBVnDO2BvpDnnvMhdegy5HDZKknzRkxi55lT3PZPQSdVMcAYzKum8FsDQHThj4PZ27yXEl53Hj8M3QYrZXXMfXQVMeUT8iArGA1o64NUn3yOux644WohpTZPL7GBI#_=_

I'm getting red X's still even with particles deleted on the baby face blaster, whats up with that?
It's only giving me red x's on my listen server, I don't know anymore.
It's only giving me red x's on my listen server, I don't know anymore.
Are you playing on tr_walkway by any chance?
Are you playing on tr_walkway by any chance?
Yes, maybe it has something to do with that. But it also does it on mvm maps.
Geez, I can't believe I've gone from a high quality config and max settings on my main computer to trying to get this to work on a lappy plus a high FPS config. This is gonna be a fun change v:v:v

So, I love the pack, It's brilliant, but I was wondering if someone could help with a problem i have? I love mvm but I often have FPS issues - I figured it wouldn't be too hard to simply use the oldschool models to replace the robots. But I can't seem to get it to work - anyone have any advice?
Do you need textures for your models or are you doing them yourself? A handful have been modeled but they're all red. I can give it a shot if you show me the unwraps and label the faces for me. Just add me on Steam.

Getting low poly models to work in MVM Scout says hi. -removed useless LODs -assigned weapon bones in .qc file -uses MVM animation set for special actions (deploying the bomb) -uses updated models with improved fingers and facial animation No hat or feet yet, this is to be fixed. Then I will do the other classes and release.
question you were talking about hats earlier if you kept the vanilla hats like soldier's, scout's, sniper's as irremovable parts of their model and made all hat models invisible or 0 tris, then you'd have a way to release the pack without having to finish modelling hats or packing them at all no?

You probably made it a lot easier for people to get.
