You could reduce the tris on the boston baser and the backscratcher by making the spikes be just pyramids instead of squares with points on the end.

I think the polycount for them is fine
You guys are wasting way too many tris.
for future reference, a typical replacement for a cylinder will have a five sided base, unless the decorations on it call for something different, like the basher, i would prefer a six sided base, (for symmetry) with triangular pyramids for spikes. the replacement for a staff will typically be a four sided base, with as much or as little detail as you can offer, to be honest, there is a little too much detail on the piece tha connects the staff of the rake to the head, whereas, the knob at the end is just fine.

Ironically it looks better than the candy cane actually ingame (The original texture at least)
Yeah I had this for a while but I got rid of it because a lot of the weapons weren't included.
Looking forward to the release.
It's so strange how this actually looks better than most high-fps scripts out there. I'm looking forward to trying out these textures and seeing if I get a significant FPS gain.
Although, I'll still be happy if I don't get an FPS gain, these look amazing.

sparkwire is makin descions on his own, there will be a vote on which hands will be used, the default player ones, that murphy took off the default player models then made PERFECTLY rigged, then went further and uv-ed them to the oldschool textures, or the lowpoly player ones sparkwire made... im starting to get irritated.
to be honest, the lowpoly player model ones are crap, and dont quite follow what i was going for in the hands, ones that actually had a LITTLE bit of dimension to them... much like hl1 and something that actually preserves some of the style of the default models.

They could even be triangular pyramids for that matter. Also, the candy cane looks odd to me. Maybe pentagonal would work better than hexagonal.
