They have 2 skins of each class in the picture.
So they only have 5 classes but 2 skins for each one? What's with that game anyway? It was revealed like years ago and had all that stolen (or thought-to-be-stolen) content that looked just like other game content, like how that firefighter looks exactly like the Soldier, has his rocket launcher, and had the Pyro's axe. Did they update all their stuff to make it look less stolen? Or was it never stolen in the first place? Some of the stuff doesn't look as similar now, but it still seems suspicious. I couldn't ever really look too much into it due to most stuff surrounding it being in another language. So what's up with it? Has Valve ever addressed it? And is it successful at all?
http://www.edge-online.com/features/something-about-japan-the-indie-verdict-after-valve-pitches-steam-at-bitsummit/ Taken from the Headlines. Basically devs from japan are interested on releasing games on steam. If this happens, I don't know what to think.
The fact that one of the devs is the team behind PaRappa makes me moist.

Valve trying to get them to shut it down would be near impossible other than buying out the company since no one in China cares about IP. Economists estimate that forgery is a multi-billion dollar business in China.

And is it successful at all?
Valve's pretty much ignored it; and it's more of a sub-class/alternate character selection system. Each character for each class has their own backstory; including age, bloodtype, starsign, etc. I.E. The Striker (Counter-Strike character ripoff) is a Frenchm'n who enjoys killing people who are more handsome than him, but even a tough guy like him has his weaknesses; even he can't resist the charms of the Succubus/Devil Sniper Lady (eternally 16, creepy shit there). No one's been able to crack open the game and get the model files to convert back to Source (most of the weapons and animations were somehow converted for this game, and even maps from Battlefield Heroes, Counter-Strike and TF2 have been reused, i.e. Seaside Skirmish, Victory Village, De_Dust and Koth_Harvest). Would be kinda funny to see an SFM video with the Heavy beating up the Fish Monger Fatman, or the Sniper chatting up with the Office Lady Sniper.

Nope. At least this means we can expect an update in the near future. Hopefully bringing something I can actually obtain.
So how much does one of those things cost?

Or they may completely surprise us with something new! Who knows.
Most expensive promo in the entire game.

Wait for it... What's in Oculus Rift Box? I'd gladly wait 4 months for that Oculus Rift Box to open, as long as it'll be a talking head attachment.
since Fez is now on steam http://store.steampowered.com/app/224760/ do you think there will be a promo from it?

One of the PCGamesN employees got a chance to see what the experience is like so far: http://www.pcgamesn.com/tf2/team-fortress-2-vr-edition-revealed-six-rounds-badwater-oculus-rift
I had a chance to spend an afternoon at Valve playing TF2 with the Oculus, and learning what Valve have planned for the VR platform. Over the course of a half dozen bot matches, I discovered that the Oculus absolutely works as advertised, providing a natural 3D immersive experience. But that turns out to be the easy part. Of all things, it’s the fencing that gets me the most. Right there in the Blue team base at the start of Badwater Basin, waiting for the Payload match to start, that’s when I start to see what the Oculus Rift could mean for immersion. The sense of presence it can evoke is remarkable. Something as common and unremarkable as the chainlink gates, which I’ve seen a thousand times before, become something almost tangible. I want to hook my fingers around the links and rattle the fence a bit. Beyond it, the familiar sights of Badwater rising in into the distance: red-brown dust, the hill dotted with rock chimneys, and beyond it, the rooftops and sky. Familiar sights, but this time it felt like a space I could get out of my chair and walk through. “It’s the parallax effect. You notice it a lot more with the combination of 3D and head-tracking,” explains Joe Ludwig, the Valve programmer leading VR development. “There is so much more motion coming from your head that you’re getting from the game, plus the 3D, that your brain just gets a ton of feedback that it’s in a 3D space and start interpreting it that way.” And once you have made that leap, TF2 in the Oculus becomes something not quite new, but a vision of what is to come. It is disorienting and engrossing, at once both more natural and more contrived, and above all it is more convincing. In some ways I felt like I was seeing it for the first time. The strength of the experience has me looking forward to the day when developers can create games intended for 3D VR headsets like the Oculus. We’re not there yet, but when Valve release the VR update for TF2 later this month, we’ll be a big step closer.
[editline]18th March 2013[/editline] The author is also letting people ask questions on reddit about it as well
