Ugh, seeing all the prices for things now makes me a little depressed, I've had my eye on an entire Sleeping Dogs genuine set, purely because I regret not pre-ordering that game so badly. But I've got like, 2 keys worth of things I'm willing to part with, it's kinda upsetting how expensive they are now.
You know what i'm going to do it i'm buying the the VR headset.
the VR headset should come with that throwing up taunt so you can recreate your motion sickness in game.
You know what i'm going to do it i'm buying the the VR headset.
It's not bad for $300. Probably can keep its value when if you want to sell it to get the commercial version, considering it also has dev license with it. I'm still debating whether to get it now or wait for the commercial, less crude version. I'm itching to play TF2 with it, though...
Did the TF2 beta get whatever it was supposed to get for sv_pure earlier?
You know what i'm going to do it i'm buying the the VR headset.
I would recommend against, they pretty much say on their faq "if you are not a dev do not buy the dev kit, the consumer version will be both better and cheaper".
there was a post here. it's gone now.
Valve has generously donated these fashionable Rift hats to the Oculus developer community. If you backed the Kickstarter campaign at any level, or if you pre-ordered a Rift development kit from our website before April 1, 2013, (and haven’t refunded/canceled your pledge/order) you’ll receive a code to redeem your very own TF2 Oculus dev kit hat.
(As taken from http://www.oculusvr.com/blog/team-fortress-2-in-the-oculus-rift/) So I guess that means even if you donated $10 to the kickstarter in ages past you'll receive the code.
cool, I'm glad they are adding more limited hats that will never get distributed again instead of fixing steam community integration or animation/model issues.
So what are we speculating about now? 3rd and 4th misc slots? Hopefully when they integrate SteamPipe, It will be stable enough to draw all these new miscs on screen.
is the mini-sentry fucked up to anyone else? [thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/minibug1.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/minibug2.jpg[/thumb] there's some sort of metal growth on the top, and it rotates the wrong side it's shooting at.

Though I think in actuality that its a bug that is affecting all Engineer building's LODs.
Glitch fixes don't make them money; limited edition hats and salvaged crates do.
Has someone actually sent them a mail about that?

Link to the actual Kickstarter page? certainly something I'm curious about since I'm studying game engineering this year. EDIT: Okay, so unless you backed the funding LAST YEAR WHEN NO ONE WAS TOLD ABOUT IT, You don't get one. Shame, Icant afford to buy/pre order a headset as I would have had a few things planned to modify the headset.
As the huge, obnoxious, unfitting person who made this item in the first place, I think so... Especially where the rope bunches up at the top of the right ear... "Major Update Speculation Thread V16: Woah! It's In Threeee-Deeee!" ? Any other Oculus-ralated thread titles? Or maybe SteamPipe-related? Also, is this Thursday looking prime for the/an update?

I can go and hybernate for 10 more days.
I don't think Steampipe will come this week. TF2 is supposed to be last and some games, like Deathmatch, aren't updated yet.
