Yup get all the Secret Saxtons on one your main, join an empty server with your main and one alt and use the gifts. Receive items and charges for Spirit of Giving. I have 9 charges and the heart is barely visible so whatever.

If it wasn't obvious enough your alts with premium TF2 are eligible for holiday achievements. Get more coal and % off Valve! I'd take all your unwanted games and coal btw. :v:

Yes, it can, but I'd suggest against it. It's against the contest rules/EULA.

I don't understand your problem in the first place. Why did you delete the GCFs and why do you use the update bat? It looks like it's just a placeholder at the moment. All you can do now is log in to your alt with sandboxie, delete local cotent and reinstall TF2.

Do you update outside of the sandbox or in the sandbox?

Because I did exactly what the readme says to do.. M.A.I.D. which by the way was the name I came up with.

No worries!
Simply cut and paste the .gcf files from steamapps onto your desktop.
Then click Update TF2. This will try to install TF2. Don't do anything.
Close down the update steam and cut and paste the files back into the steamapps.
Then click on Update TF2 again and it will update.

I think it does. I haven't had anything drop today on one of my alts that had this error. Later the others followed with the same error. and stopped dropping, but I might've hit the drop cap.

We're not telling you to do anything. This is a guide to teach you how to things yourself and if you take a closer look at update.bat all it does is launch TF2. I don't know what DeltaEcho's thought behind that was but it does pretty much nothing with updates.

You can ignore this. It doesn't affect drops.

Why does one of my idles not getting any drops? I've restarted the server plenty times now, and it's the same as my other idle accounts. I haven't had any drops the whole day!

I have taken it out of sandboxie and items are dropping now.
Anyone got ideas what might be wrong? It worked last week, and I'd like to sandbox it again.

I used paypal, linked it to my bank account and I bought 3 idle accounts in one day.

I idled, I got a few drops. Its because i'm sharing it off of one account I believe.

I'm redesigning the entire program. This one will work with an installer too.
This one might be out after x-mas or after new-years, either one.
Sadly I can't get the parameters to launch with the selected steam.exe. So I can't do the non-.bat system ;_;

I've added a failsafe to the program so it will notify you to update every time you try to run an idle.
I've got a slightly better update system and I have ditched the setup.
Kinda all I have to update on for now.

The item-schema error is nothing to worry about.

As stated in a previous post of mine, the easiest way of making sure you get your weekly drops is setting up a dedicated server and connect all your 15 (max number) idle accounts to it.

This way, you can always monitor if a client "checks out" (logs out) when steam is down, etc.

Also, a small vmware tip: when steam is down and you don't want to do the same sh1t again, just freeze the vmware image and restart it later. Your clients will be connected and working properly in just seconds.

Completely removed the forms. Made it so the system is held together with panels which makes my life a hell of a lot easier.
Hide Login and Hide Shutdown will be made for each group. So don't worry about that empty bit of screen for now.

Loading bar works properly now.
Properly working intervals and everything else it fixed.
I ditched the update. There will be a PROPER readme for the error that Errorproxy encountered. Sorry about that.
Do you all still want the Reboot in normal mode option? I just wish to know.

If anyone wants anything else added tell me please.

I've never made a actual server before but I think you need a HLDS. Otherwise just try type connect localhost into the console...
