Advanced Mann-Conomy: How to idle with multiple accounts

Did anybody else's accounts only get 3-4 drops? Both me and my friend had accounts that did this, and I ran mine for nearly 24 hours ( was away from the house )

Yep, 10 of 20 did with "coordinator" bullshit. Nothing to do except reconnect.

no
Nope, as long as it's legit.
Alright thanks for heads up. Got a few more accounts premium today :). The Backpack expanders seem like the best deal. ~3.50-3.70 and they are exact;y 4.99 on the market. Unless there is a better way to max out profit per account.

Reconnect? If that's assuming I use the method of having each account connect to a server to save on memory, I haven't switched to that yet.
If you just mean to redo the idling, I did that for another 10-12 hours and nothing dropped
For anyone who's only getting like a few drops here's the explanation:
Item server tends to be down from time to time, so if you idle like 10 hours while it's all the way down then you will not get any item plus in addition your weekly cap will be marked.
So the solution is - only idle when it's up and running, otherwise you won't get anything.

Explain why only few acc's get low drop in same time, brainiac.
The time of the drop reset changed, seems it's happening Thursday 0:00 AM PST (GMT -7). If you start idling 3-4 hours before that (time of the previous drop reset) you'll probably get less items. I tested it with one account that night and it got only 4 items.
Do you have to make each account a unique email address or can you use the same one for all of them?

Can use same or even type random words and change email after.
So, I hate to be THAT guy, but I've searched around and I haven't been able to find anything.
Some people claim to have found a way to charge amounts lesser than 5$ on their Steam wallets, allowing them to buy idle accounts for 50 cents.
Does anyone have a method for it, preferably worldwide?
I am having a problem. I get this error:
http://gyazo.com/12a854525d3a078b49170a288784ee2b
When I try to launch the exe for TF2. Is it because I don't own any games on the account or what?

From what I understand, Russian steam users can. I'd search the thread a bit first.
Have we figured out a good throwaway payment method yet?

You can definitely have more than 2 premium accounts using the same debit card, the thing is.. you have to wait a week or 2 inbetween before converting a new account.
As for any other methods? Not really.. there used to be the Vanilla Visa gift cards (which I used for accounts #1-#3 way back) but paypal no longer accepts these, you may have some trouble using the card directly on steam.. and the $5 activation fee when purchasing this card really doesn't make it worth it to use anymore.
If you have a card and online banking then there should definitely be a way to generate alternate numbers for use in online shopping. I am with bank of america and it's called Shopsafe, you can generate several alternate cc numbers to use in steam. Pay for as many accounts as you need to with one card and no charge... easy. I paid for at least my last 10 accounts this way and will never do anything else. I just wish I found it sooner since I don't want many more accounts now and have spent a lot on stupid gift visas.
Someone should make a video on how to do this successfully because I'm a complete moron.
Not sure if vmartelle.

all i know about this steamauth is, if you get it, you won't recieve any new items
Quick question.
So I've downloaded Sandboxie and copied all my steam files to a folder on my desktop. I set up the sandbox and run my alt - everything is smooth. I can launch TF2 for a couple of days and even idle it a couple of times. I can make trades through steam with my main no problem as well. But a couple of days ago (I guess after an update) when i try to launch TF from the sandbox it begins to validate my files and then I get a steam error of servers too busy. I can access TF2 on my alt when not sandboxed though. Any idea of whats going on?

files in the desktop folder are not updated
I figured that was the problem since it died after the update. Is there a simple way to do this or do I need to copy everything back over? Sorry for the stupid questions but would there be a way to keep them up to date automatically or without having to keep a separate folder?
Once again I apologize for being a simpleton and thank you in advance.
I am having a problem. I can be logged in on two different accounts using Sandboxie and I can launch TF2 on my non-sandboxed steam just fine.
But when I'm about to launch TF2 on my sandboxed steam I get the error "This game us currently unavailable. Please try again at another time." Can anyone please help me with this?
(I have 2 different copies of steam, one for the sandboxed steam and one for the other.
I have been launching the sandboxed version before i launch the non-sandboxed steam, I've also been verifying the game cache and reinstalling TF2 which did not give any result at all)
Please, help me! :(
Once again this week, some of my accounts only got 2-3 drops. Any ideas?
It could have been the item servers shitting themselves if you idled after or just before MVM release, possibly

Happened last week as well, same accounts, and only some of the accounts.
My Idle accounts now continually "validate TF2 files" when they start up now, and I can't figure out how to make them stop. Making them individually validate used to work...
Q: Why does Steam validate/verify my files all the time?
A: If you use the mklink method only update TF2 with one account or you enter an endless update cycle. If you get this all the time even when running Steam normally consider redownloading.
Try deleting the tf2 folders of each of your account folders, I think.

because you are using more steamapps folders, one of them has updated tf2 and the rest does not

This bug usually happens when a account that's not idling starts to update TF2 when other accounts are idling, all having the steamapps folder shared.
First of all update TF2 in your main account (hopefully you don't have the steamapps folders of it shared). Then close all the sandboxies, and copy all the TF2-related files from your main steamapps folder to your shared steamapps folder. Just copy the .GCF files, you don't need to copy the subfolders.
Then run just one idle account to see if everything is ok. This should fix the problem.
