hey so um I still have like 6 accounts that aren't premium and steam won't accept my debit card anymore. dafuq do i do. how am i supposed to upgrade

You can't upgrade more than 2 accounts at a given time using the same CC number or paypal.

Hey guys, I just joined the forums to ask a question, hopefully I will stay though! Anyway, I keep getting the "Could not connect to Steam network" error and I am sure I did the third step correctly. Could something else be the problem? Thanks.

Another question for everyone though; has anyone noticed strange fluctuations in drop rates? I run a batch of 15 at a time and half of them get 5 or less and none of them get more than about 10. It's very strange I think, it's been happening for 2 weeks now. EDIT: Also I've been doing this for a year now and I know "random is random" but I've never seen such a large amount of disparate accounts dropping less than 5 items.

It uses credit cards,which gets blocked after 2 accounts. I'm assuming you havent used your paypal balance,how you did it,creating multiple accounts?

I payed 10 idle accounts at once and another 5 accs next month without any problem

Anyone idle in the last 12 hours? I got nothing over all my accounts. Maybe due to the update, will try again tonight :)

I idled a few accounts over the last 24 hours or so (restarting them and swapping them around a bit) and have received nothing as well... Perhaps something has changed since the last update to TF2 or Steam? Any info or reports of successful idling would be good to see.

The ones I use +connect on use around 220-240. The "server" uses 400-450ish. The idle config doesn't matter.. you need to add +connect in the startup parameters for all your "clients" either in tf2idle or in tf2 startup settings. The idle config doesn't matter.. you need to add +connect in the startup parameters for all your "clients" either in tf2idle or in tf2 startup settings.[/QUOTE] yeah i was wondering why it wasn't working and then i went to the library launch settings and i saw that i had my old parameters so i guess tf2idler doesn't override them. i cleared it and now everything is working hunky dory with client running at 200k now i wish each steamapp account folder didn't take up 1 gig (running a limited capacity SSD drive) i notice the bulk of the size comes from tf2/media folder. i'm assuming i could just mklink /D "my main's steamapp's media folder" and that would work, right? well i guess i'll try it now. edit: i was about to successfully mklink media folder as well. it saves an extra gig of hdd space for those of us who are on early small ssd drives :B

awesome :D those options will overwrite / add to anything you have in tf2items. i don't know any way around that right off :( ssd is a bit overkill for idle accounts if you have a nice cpu/7200rpm sata2/3 drive. Nice to have though... I run my home computer boot drive off one and it smokes. worth a shot. i'm not really sure of the contents of that folder. or if all else fails use a second drive for steamapps. Guys, i just upgraded 3 accounts in quick succession using ClickAndBuy.

I'm trying to virtual credit card thing... seems to work pretty nice. still sucks spending 5$ per account plus some little fee's here and there. one good thing and i don't know how long it between before this "resets"... but i've used my same cc and paypal probably 7-8 times now... i use them twice each... a month or so down the road it allows me to use it again :)

Not very relevant, but I figured this would be the best place to ask... Anyone have bulk amounts of Fall Crates? Looking to buy around 20-60 of them at a time, maybe more if the price is good. For the last, I don't know maybe 3 weeks, whenever I idle I get an error immediately: "Replay error system: The session info file failed to download: File-non-existent URL: [url]http://replay111.valve.net:80/srcds150.sea-1.valve.net/03/20120817-121432-mvm_coaltown.dmx[/url] I've tried googling to fix the problem but the only thing that pops up is server owner's getting the error. Would appreciate finding out what the hell is going on.

Uhh, so suddenly when I try to idle with two accounts at the same time I get the blob thing when trying to open both of them at the same time. Or something like that, It's going from the same .exe file. How do I fix this?
