Wait, so you buy when the backpack is full of refined metal or what?
not full but yeah, you got the point
Well I have 190 free accounts and a friend of mine has around 490 and we both noticed a HUGE decrease, we are both running 20 accounts each machine, we both used to get like 4 - 8 tools each trading session with no problems, since 3 weeks we are both getting 0 - 1 tools, i don't think it's a coincidence

I am crafting weapons and deleting crates once a backpack is full using steamitemmanager, your backpack can hold up to 52 items, after that point you won't get any new drops
I haven't gotten SteamItemManager to work at all... It just crashes before loading any account items, whether or not the SIM is sandboxed. How did you get it to work?

What's this supposed to mean?
i get the same as the poster above about cannot add a thread.. doesnt happen to every account,, but certainly most of them.

Ditto!
Hi i have problems with the idle sandboxie memory.. its using up too much memory at 475k range for each account.. these are what i had tired before but the memory doesn't drop ..
-textmode -nosound -noipx -novid -nopreload -nojoy -sw -maxplayers 2 +sv_lan 1 +map "itemtest"
-low -textmode -nosound -noipx -novid -nopreload -nohltv -nojoy -tvdisable -windowed -width 640 -height 480 -sw -maxplayers 2 +sv_lan 1 +map "itemtest"
+exec idle.cfg -heapsize 131072 -textmode -nosound -low -novid -nopreload -replay_enable 0 -nohltv -tvdisable -nojoy -width 640 -height 480 +sv_password 1234 -sw -port 29015 +sv_lan 1 +map itemtest +maxplayers 35 +mp_idledealmethod 0
+exec idle.cfg -textmode -nosound -low -novid -nopreload -nohltv -nojoy -tvdisable -width 640 -height 480 -port 23 +password 1234 +connect 192.168.1.2:29015
none of those above works for me.. physical memory still goes up to 60%+ just to idle 3 accounts

Same on my two accounts which I launch through Sandboxie. I didn't change any settings

About %70 of accounts gave that error, idled overnight,6-12 items per account. So its safe to say it doesnt affect idling.
Also it appears its something that garry's mod users have,it happened after update,so i'm guessing (again) after garry's mod problem gets fixed it will go away.(I have garry's mod,it can be about shared source stuff)
_______________
Edit:Error has gone away as predicted with the fix patch from Garry.
need help on this !
-low -textmode -nosound -low -novid -nopreload -nohltv -nojoy -tvdisable -windowed -width 640 -height 480 -port 23 +password 1234 +connect 192.168.0.100:29015

Keep getting this error when trying to start up an account in sandboxie
Note: One account at a time works fine, be it sandboxie or normal one, it only appears when trying to start up a steam in sandboxie whilst having normal steam open as well.
Make sure you're not downloading ANYTHING on your main. I finished everything i was downloading and it worked fine.

Paysafecard is your best option. Check out if that type of service is available in your town and go do it.
You just deposit 5 $/E and you get a receipt with a pin-code. Use that pin-code to purchase premium and you're done.
is there any chance hosting a 32+ player local server?
i tried +maxplayers 40 but server still shows 1/32 after hoster starts.

32 players is maximum
any chance hosting 2 local servers in 1 computer then?

Nothing to worry about, it's just a temporary file downloaded by the client to overide the old one.
Ignore it...
ok ty

That easy? Thanks!
Hey, so I'm getting Could not connect to Steam network, and Not enough space for the game when trying to log into an account in sandboxie.
Drop rights is unchecked.
All programs should have access to the internet.
At this point both hard drive roots are in the full access category.
What more can I troubleshoot here?
I'm also posting in the thread of a tool that sends commands to sandboxxie.

Okay, this tripped me up for about 6 straight hours on a project. What I found out is when you give the HDD full access step, you do NOT give it full access. Simply because, Steam will spit out write access errors and similar if the HDD access grants it access to ITSELF. Basically, if you're running a sandbox C:\Sandbox\Name\Sandbox1, it can not have access to itself under full HDD write or it WILL error. Personally, I put my second copy of tf files under my actual steam install under X:\Steam\Steamapps\Idle\Steamapps. Assuming you've done similar, make sure you give it read/write to that second set of files.
Basically, the entire folder of your copied GCFs, give it access to THOSE, but not your sandboxed files.

Okay, so if I have my main steam install at E:/Program Files/Steam
and all the idle files at
O:/idle/steam1
O:/idle/steam2 etc
with links between
O:/idle/steam1/steamapps and E:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps,
I just want to give full access to E:/Program Files/Steam/
And give no access to O:/idle?
EDIT:
I got it, many thanks!
Have the project I'm also working on,
http://uf.serveftp.com/steam/
The validate bit.
I get a list of the users games, and create links with icons to validate that game. It currently CANNOT find if you have the game installed, so if you don't it will just install it.
I'm just using steam://validate/appID

If I understood that correctly, then yes, that's how you would want to set it up. I'm assuming so since that worked for you.

So... you didn't move your steamapps folder then?
-------------------
I am really confused as to how to do this exactly. Is it better to link to the default steamapps folder or am I supposed to move my steamapps folder somewhere else and link to that? If someone has a directory structure of a functioning idle farm (no validating loops for every single account) can you please post how you have it laid out? Thanks a ton!

Hey I got this recently too, but it doesn't affect in nothing in fact, you will receive items normally from the drop.
