So guys,i have done this now too, but i cant find items, when I idle, i dont get any errors, i dident upgrade sandboxie to premium yet, because i first want to know, that it works.
So I went in steam, and it said, my acc is ingame, i pressed join, but i couden, server dont response.
Maybe the server is ofline, so i cant find something, but i am online, i did it now for 3 hours, and dident find something, but it says, i am connectet, and my second question, can i buy with paysafecard alot off accc, more then the 2 limits? What screen program i can use, for a simple screenshot, with camstudio i can only record.
Your post is really confusing.
THX YOU GUYS, NOW IT WORKS, this is heavy weapon guy, hehe.
And can somebody tell me knwo, how i put all accounts in one server, that it takes less more ram
Hi guys, how to idle 32 accounts, i start 24, but when run 25 acc console closed with error Couldn't load Windows font: Tahoma. Win7sp1x64, Memory 32 Gb
I have this same problem. Did you fix it?
Mine happens at 23-24 idles. I have tried many things but no fix as of yet. I even tried making a second "server" on a different port and limiting my first server to 20 idles. Problem still happens at 23-24 every time.
I have Win7x64 -- i7-3820 / GTX650 (310.90 driver) / 32gb mem.

getting this error after reaching 33 accounts, i tried to run a second system using virtualbox and I got to 40+ with no problem
you were able to get 40+ on the VM or combined with the host machine?
i have plenty of power/memory so i'm not sure what is limiting me. i have a licensed copy of sandboxie and 100 sandboxes setup. I was hoping to run 50 at once.
i could try a VM if it's necessary.

combined with the host machine
16 gig of ram split into 8 + 8, then running 20 + 20 accounts
Hmm... I tried Vbox a while back and couldn't get tf2/idles to run on it. Was there anything special you did? This was with win7 host/quest OS. The machine did have a nvidia quadro card which was what I thought the problem was.
If it works that's what I'll do! I still wish I knew why/what limits the ability to run more without a VM.
I can get tf2 textmode to somewhat run on Vbox (guest os Win7 64bit) but I get a ton of errors.
What's the trick to getting it to run right? I have tried the vbox additions (d3d driver or whatever) and changing options around on the VM with no luck.
The Display Adapter in Computer Management shows "virtualBox Graphics Adapter for Windows Vista and 7".
@radek I added you on steam to ask you about this. Hope that's ok!
This is what happens if I try to run text mode. I can actually run the game full gui and play on a server but the video gets a bit distorted at times

I have tried both "3d drivers" with the "guest addons" both do this. I have 256mb video and 2d/3d enabled within the vbox VM settings.
My vcard is a GeForce GTX 650 with the latest drivers on the host machine.
Does anyone else have a problem trading premium upgrades to new free accounts now? I can't trade for some reason.

Steam Guard needs to be active for 15 days to trade. So if you just made the account then you need to wait that long.

Well darn. That wasn't a problem a month ago.
indeed.
they enabled that some day. Before that I could trade the premium gifts (and get the items off my idles).
but after that I had to wait 15days for all my accounts.
Creation date + 15 days. you'll even have to wait till the right hour before the waiting period is over.
Made 2 accounts on 31th of December. I'm able to trade with one now, the other still tells me that I have to wait 15 days.
So to anyone who has tf2 running in textmode on a VM....
what OS are you running? how did you do it? i have 64gb mem in my machine and can only run a whopping 24-25 idles before steam goes crazy.
Has anyone found a way to idle in Windows 8? Would like to upgrade, but don't want to lose my idling
Has anyone found a way to idle in Windows 8? Would like to upgrade, but don't want to lose my idling
everything is pretty much the same

with all that ram you can run a exact copy of the VM, multiple times

How can you manage to run 20 accounts on 8 GB ram?
I had 8GB and max is 11-12 - after that I have errors with "out of memory" thing. I had 8GB ram + 9GB swap.

I am actually able to run 20 accounts even with my 4 gigs ram laptop, i have mentioned that a shitload of times now though. are you running 1 server + clients connecting to it or just servers?
I can't get TF2 to run on a VM . My 64gb is pretty much useless. I can run 1 server + 22 clients before steam starts doing weird things
I have tried Win Xp x64 and Win 7 x64. Both get the same issue with the video driver.

I am using virtual box with the guest add-on's installed. I have 2d and 3d enabled in the VM settings.
The last thing I was going to try is running it on Ubuntu.
If someone could help me getting tf2 running in text mode on a VM I'd be more than happy give a couple keys for the help. I have tried everything I can think of.

TF2 server (normal server) + my clients connected to that server. And I have ~250MB on each account but RAM magically dissapearing.
So when I have 5GB ram free and started 10 idle accounts I left with 500MB free.
So if you're able to run Tf2 on a VM how about some info?
Host machine OS?
Guest machine OS?
Host Video card?
Guest Video card?
Tf2 launch options?
VBox VM options?
I have tried every combination of things I can think of.
DXdiag reports DD and d3d enabled. AGP is not.

So... feel free to add me on steam... whatever... I almost don't believe anyone is running tf2 idles on a VM lol. At least not with virtual box and a geforce card
I'm trying to figure out how to dump the contents of the tf2 idle window so i can see what the complete errors are.

I was about to contact you but you deleted me from steam friends so yeah, honestly I didn't set anything in virtual box, I just got it running, installed steam, tf2 and tried to idle, it worked, that's it
What video card do you have? and what guest os did you use?
What video card do you have? and what guest os did you use?
N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II/OC, Windows 8 Enterprise
Win8 on host too? Maybe that's the ticket. I don't think I have a copy to try though :\
Edit: I can get a 90 day eval so I'll see if that makes tf2 work for me.
N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II/OC, Windows 8 Enterprise
I'm just going to add you again lol.
Win8 Enterprise... Same error basically.
I have 2d and 3d enabled in Vbox VM settings. I installed VM guest additions or whatever.
In Computer Management I show "VirtualBox Graphics Adapter for Windows 8"...
I'd really really like to get this working so maybe we can compare settings on VBox and see what display adapter yours shows.

Oh yeah these are my start options... I've removed a few things in hopes of narrowing down the problem:
-textmode -nosound -novid -nopreload -nojoy -sw -port 29015 +map itemtest
[editline]17th January 2013[/editline]
I am playing with dxlevel now. It seems to run on 71 and 81 with a few errors... but appears to be working!
I'm pretty sure I tried these options on xp and win7 and they didn't help.
