That's probably a Normal Shovel, I saw it in a valve guys backpack.
"Normal" weapons are probably gonna drop, that we can use in crafting to enhance with different attributes. Boosted health, vampirism, fire retardancy, etc.
Like the Valve Weapons, except not all attributes at once.

The Soldier/Demo war has generated more email than any event in Team Fortress history. The number one question I'm being asked is "are you going to publish any new information over the weekend?" Absolutely we are. In fact, here's some news right now: As of THIS MOMENT, there is still an M&M lodged up TF artist Drew Wolf's nose. I love how they added the Casualty thing, crafting, and Saxton Hale comic at the end of that, like it was nothing.
Also Engineer needs to come out of nowhere and get all 3 of his weapons right there on the last day.
Hmmm if you look at the crafting picture you can Saxton hale standing with the other 4 classes in the middle :O
