Well the thing IS only a lunchbox. It doesnt need to be extremely sturdy compared to something meant to hold a lot of weight. Also, I dont think I can make the proportions too much bigger without it not looking right.

You'd need to ask permission if you wanted to pack the backup plan in with your claw mod but if you just release it separately it's fine for it to be designed to be used with another mod

I don't really think it makes sense for the tears of the gasmask to be that long. They should only be as short as they'd be if they were really torn. It wouldn't be able to stretch like that.

Bigger in the other direction, make the tears reach further down his head, not the flaps further up the straw. The material should be a little thicker too

Find a plastic bag, like from a grocery store. Pull it down your finger until it tears through.
Try to replicate that in a cartoony style.

Seems alright to me, you don't want to risk 'over-designing' it imo. All of his grenade replacements don't have that much detail in them.

They're [I]very[/I] basic, the actual cup has very little curve to it, and they're also real small. Size them up, make them a bit more flowing and try and find a comfortable fit for them in their new size.
