I feel that the green lesbian shorts would detract from the uniqueness of the item (however being a great call out to his original pants!). Part of being an artist is knowing when to play it safe and when it's okay to change things up, and I feel that khaki was the best call for the shorts, given the safari theme of our set. We're more than happy to take suggestions when we feel that they'd improve our work (and some of yours will be used), but please try to respect that differences in opinion do sometimes happen and we are not obliged to fulfill every demand just because you feel strongly about it. Oh, nice squirt gun, btw. Really in the style.

That's what I like about SVDL, he seems to try pretty much every suggestion thrown at him on the off chance it improves his item. It's more or less in the bright summery TF2 item style of 2011? If you got any suggestions I'd love to hear em, I plan on doing a new version of it this year. Although I must confess, I don't have any idea how it's related to this conversation?

This is crazy. It takes less than 5 minutes to load up a PSD, tweak the basecolours, reimport it and hit F5 in modelveiwer. Why are you so persistent about not accepting criticism!? It does NOT hurt to try. I mean, I actually have MORE complaints about the items I've been withholding because you won't even bother properly responding to the initial ones - namely, fix the purple scope. I don't care if your diffuse is actually blue. It's clearly coming out purple in every render, so tint it a bit more into the cyan range to compensate for it and maybe play with the envmaptint. Secondly. The normal map on the boots isn't adding anything. Drop it. Make the laces lower poly and... idk, maybe lose them altogether? No other shoes in TF2 have laces like that. The texture on the gun isn't good. The wood is completely out of style compared to other rifles, and the metal looks way too high contrast in the diffuse, and noisey. We can never be friends because your personality is awful. It reminds me of a brand new item creator who is too stubborn and lazy to accept criticism and defends everything by sayign he's new and doesn't know any better. Except I don't know what your excuse is. "lesbian green", "i don't like it", "it reminds me of what my dad would wear" (ChemicalAlia not you, but exactly the same vibe) ""part of being an artist" (fuck off). And calling me out on my worst item when FINDING my worst item would take longer than changing the colours is just pathetic.
