I guess we are never going to agree I hope we can still be friends :-)
You too Venezuelan, I didn't realize the tf2 emporium was any nicer than dota, doesn't ever seem that way.
I'd imagine it wouldn't since you're an instigator. Can't imagine too many places would be friendly to someone who dishes out the treatment you do.
No constructively criticizing the work of the almighty moderator/supreme being known as Max.

I had nothing to do with the shorts fyi
[sub](if I had modeled them you know they would probably be looking far worse!)[/sub]
And I know it's an emporium tradition but you don't have to act condescending like that, you know?
How was that flaming?
your personality is awful

(fuck off)
Now I'd like to ask you all to get back on topic or I'll have to hand out more bans. Thanks in advance

No need to falsely ban someone either, but hey... it seems to be one of your traditions.

I wouldn't argue the ban normally, since this forum runs on an "owner makes the rules" sort of situation. I can respect that.
But who in their right mind would give power to a child like Max? Neo did nothing wrong. He responded to personal direct attacks from from Drywall the way any rational person would. More intelligently even, he didn't just get upset, he gave reasons for it. Neo did NOT deserve to be banned.
Anyone who would ban Neo and keep Drywall in this situation is biased as fuck.

I feel really bad about all this. I know I'm a little late; I hope I didn't say anything that led to anyone getting banned... :(. Anyway, Max made that taunt for me, not Dry, as it was my model (much appreciated).
But yeah, thanks for the heads up about the shirt, I'll make sure that gets fixed. I'm not familiar with all the items in tf2 these days, so if you think of any other items you suspect may have compatibility issues with ours, please let me know and we'll get that sorted!

Why are you even posting here max if you don't want to take/ignore criticism and ban the most contributing users?

Have you guys considered styles on the shorts? Compromise?
Max, can you stop banning people for criticising projects your related to? It's highly unprofessional, and probably makes the people you're working with think less of you.
I also wanted to mention how clumsy the animation on that taunt was earlier, but dind't really want to chime in. i like the set Alia and dry have made, and it's good to see the creative space being explored like this. But that taunt was just three separate poses, tweened together. The movements have no power behind them, and didn't feel anything like how sniper would move his body. But it's defiantly good to see taunts being made on the workshop. It would be good to post progress and get feedback on such things, just as people do with their actual items.

That is a wonderful idea! Of course we can do styles, I forgot all about those things existing. c:

"Artists' choice" and "Community's choice" ey? sounds good to me
Why does everybody start hating on Max when he bans someone?
Also please don't ban me I think those legs are sexy
"Artists' choice" and "Community's choice" ey? sounds good to me
I think it's a very rare occasion when the artist knows whats best for the item better than the combined effort of the community.
Does anyone have any advice on the TF2 Compiler? My model keeps coming up with an error.
I don´t know if this exist or something, but is there a fix for the crazy fingers on all-class meeles? or something to modify the spy´s revolver viewmodel on higher fovs, because it looks like an arm is brotating from the spy´s ear :v:
Why does everybody start hating on Max when he bans someone?

It's the sheer stupidity behind the reason.
I think it's a very rare occasion when the artist knows whats best for the item better than the combined effort of the community.
Yeah, that often is the case, but not always by any means. An issue that I ran into when I was still working on my female tf2 models was that I tried to follow all of the feedback I was getting. A lot of things conflicted with my designs, particularly in that certain facial features were regarded as less feminine/attractive, and I ended up with some watered down results. I ended up having to make a call on some things to fit my ideas the best, even though they're not the decisions you usually see made for female game characters. I did that at the advice of a (now) former Valve artist whose work I really admired, and it kind of resonated. Most advice is quite sound and valuable in my experience, but sometimes you just have to go with your best judgment. That's my only personal example, based on experiences with the TF2 art community. c:
*talking about the task of designing the female classes*
I can't even imagine the insurmountable task of completely re-designing a class. Add that with criticism left and right from the community and it sounds like a task in futility.
I would say a smaller task such as the safari sniper are much easier to see what could be improved and what should stay. I'm glad you're considering making it into styles, as there are pros and cons to both the more safari-esque shorts and the darker shorts that Neodement showed. As always, I like your work when it comes to TF2 (female classes, etc), so don't leave droughts when it comes to submitting ideas you have.
As for the animation Max, I love when there are animations added to community items, so keep 'em coming. However, and it could just be me, but does the Sniper's rolling and snapping back of his head on the second pose (the salute with his head) seem too sudden or a little off/awkward?

I feel like max's animation is too floppy
I think the problem is how he swings it at the beginning. He should be raising it and then let it drop on his shoulder, to show how heavy it is, not swinging it around like it was as light as a feather.
what the animation needs

Don't know why I'm focusing on that though because it's unimplementable and I doubt it's getting a mod release

I wasn't specifically talking about you, but yeah, I'd respect criticism from you or somebody else who I guess I would deem "professional" whatever that is defined as. Not intending to suck your dick or anything by saying that BTW, master's degree helps.
I honestly like everything about Max's animation, besides the already stated lightness of the weapon, I mean, I know he's Australian and all but I've held a rifle of that size, and it was pretty heavy, in terms of swinging it around like in the animation.
Hey guys, how do you set it in the animation's .QC to reset after each sequence, so that they don't blend together?

His hand will clip with loads of hats I bet.
Hey guys, how do you set it in the animation's .QC to reset after each sequence, so that they don't blend together?
Change the "node raised" in the sequence line to "snap" but test it ingame some animations use the node raised to save frames

I wouldn't really worry about trying to make your item compatible will every other item, that's a pretty hopeless task these days. Also the only way I could think (I am not a modeller though so apologies if this is dumbest thing ever said) to fix that clipping would be to make the shorts chunkier, and I don't really think that'd look as good.

Also Saint. Patty's is coming up soon... *wink* *wink*
Is the blind justice paintable?
it says no on the wiki but it says that on the doaibolus too but thats paintable.
Had an Idea for a "year of Dragon" theme, except the damn things already made:http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=125676238
so to add to it, I had a concept for a flamethrower to match with it. now my drawing skills highly suck so do bare with me:

EDIT: Apparently the TF2 Workshop is totally down so link prob wont work for a while.
I just found a pretty nifty pistol that might make a decent mod:
