When we create a folder for each account in the Steam folder does it matter what they are called?

It's good practice to name all relevant folders to the account login name.
By the way, it would be cool if drop log had an option to put rare crates (#30,#40) in special category (or existing one, "tool", for example). Have many accounts, and its sometimes hard to find certain crate number in huge list.
It would be a nice addition as well as ability to deselect idle groups.
I was about to request this as well Moussekateer. We all know it's about those juicy salvaged crates. I found 1 so far
Also i have another feature request. Is it possible to give each account a delay timer? What i have noticed is if i startup multiple accounts at the same time steam might hang for some accounts (possibly due to starting up too many accounts at the same time causing high bandwith usage/cpu usage) and i also get 'the game currently is not available' messages a lot. So my idea is i start up account 1 to 10 and give each account 2 a delay of 1 minute, account 3 a delay of 2 minutes, etc. This way you can start multiple accounts with the push of a button and they will startup in sequence.

He's talking about the folders under the Steam folder, you can give those any name you want. The folders under the Steamapps folder have to be given the same name as you steam accounts.

There is already an option for that.
GO to File -> Settings -> Account launch delay

I've been thinking of a way to mark certain drops to stand out more. Nothing yet so far but I'll keep thinking about it. The ability to deselect idle groups will hopefully be added in the next update.
I'm not getting any drops lately, and it's NOT the drop cap being reached since I just started...
You get a drop every 50-70 mins ye? I ran it for like 2 hours straight with no drop. Even if i actually PLAY the game. I'm pretty much deleting everything and installing it again.
Pray to the item servers

Thanks!
Does anyone know if you stop getting drops if your F2P accounts have full backpacks?
I've been going along fine for weeks, and quite a few of my accounts are no longer getting drops. The only thing they have in common is that they all have full backpacks.
If that is the reason, any easy way of scrapping everything without going into the game?

Every account, premium or F2p, will stop getting drops after their backpacks are full, usually they will only get 2 or 3 items more (ex: 52 total items in F2P).
The only way I know is to craft the weapons and delete the crates, in-game.

Thanks, I didn't know that. I just assumed they'd get drops still. I guess I'll be spending my morning clearing out 30 backpacks :|

Why do you have so many? Just build up their metal then make them premium when you need them?
Hi guys, one of my idling accounts is acting weird. It's a F2P account. I was able to idle with it successfully (got 8 weapons) last week but when I tried again this week it got stuck on
"Executing listen server config file listenserver.cfg"
Here's a screenshot of what it looks like. I left it overnight thinking it wasn't an issue but woke up with no drops. I didn't change anything in either Sandboxie or tf2idle. Any ideas?

I'm getting some similar errors to the one above. More importantly, this is happening:

Game goes through a huge list of files and then crashes.

Try deleting the contents of the sandbox and deleting the account folder in the steam folder.

Are you running multiple accounts at the same time? Some people are having issues doing that, with memory leaks, freezes and crashes.

I'm usually running 12 accounts a night, but not multiple instances of the same account if that's what you're getting at. This problem only just manifested and has never happened in the last 3 months.
UPDATE: Fixed both problems. Deleting my sandbox contents fixed the listen server issue. I was able to solve the crashing by moving my "team fortress 2" folder from one account that was working and overwriting the files on the non-functioning ones.
Is it possible to add a feature where it cycles through accounts after certain amount of hrs.. so once maxxed out the drops say 9hrs... it will then close and move onto another account to be loaded up.. that way you could leave it unattended going though all the accounts.

I replied to your post, but either I didn't hit the send button, or a mod deleted it. Anyway, to solve you just need to delete the 'bin' folder in the individual username folders in the steamapps folder. I actually just deleted every username folder under steamapps as they needed a good cleanout.

That still means logging in and scapping everything, which is time consuming. Why so many? Just because. I run 20 accounts one night, 20 the next and I'm done. More idle accounts means more chance of a salvaged dropping, which is the only time I upgrade them.
Hey guys, I'm having a bit of a problem here, and this is related to "Making my accounts premium".
Ok I pretty much happy on the drops that I'm getting so i went and bought the full version of sandboxie.
Then I made up to like 4 - 5 FTP accounts on TF2. I added $5 from my "Prepaid Visa card"
for every-one of them to make them "Premium" but suddenly, it goes
"An unexpected error has occured Your purchase has not been complete. when I was about to add money on my 4th one . So I contacted Steam Support and they said:
Hello Jimmy,
Thank you for contacting Steam Support.
Our system is not set up to support this activity. You will need to complete your purchases from a single Steam account.
We will not be able to unlock this account for purchasing or remove the limitations on this copy of Team Fortress 2. Any purchases through the Mann Co. Store will need to be made on your primary Steam Account.
We understand that this is an inconvenience, but we will not be able to assist you.
What am I supposed to do now? I still have money to add funds on more Steam accounts but I'm stuck with this =='' littlehelp?

You can only use the prepaid visa on 2 accounts before it gets blocked by steam, so you will need to get mulitiple prepaid cards for your accounts

Yes, I've had this idea for a while now but I just haven't had the time to work on it. I was thinking of a fully functional scheduler that let you skip to next accounts by time/amount of drops and so on.
That would be ace!:).. hope this gets worked on soon:)
You can only use the prepaid visa on 2 accounts before it gets blocked by steam, so you will need to get mulitiple prepaid cards for your accounts
Is that what you guys did when you make all your accounts premium? What if it's a "normal" Visa Card/Masters. I made like 5 accounts just on 1 prepaid visa card. 3 on Visa Option and 2 on the Paypal Option. Then it stopped...
After reading the whole thread with replys I set up your program and it works great.
Thank you very much for making this!
Will you consider add auto-reconnect function? My internet sometimes gets disconnected and it stops the server idling. It's very annoying and this feature would really help me a lot. Thanks.
I'm not getting any drops and the text mode command prompt is saying "Game coordinator is going down for routine maintenance." Any ideas?

I'm getting the same error. But not on all accounts.
Also lately i have a lot of problems with 'The game is currently not available' and 'client.dll init failed'. When i do a validate integrity gamecache it doesn't seem to help.
Renaming clientregistry.blob doesn't solve it, after downloading some steam files it gives the 'client.dll init' error again. Emptying the sandbox doesn't work either. I just removed everything except steam.exe for that account but i'm still getting that error. Any idea's?
