TF2Idle v1.5.1.exe i think you have normal log because you are testing only one account
TF2Idle v1.5.1.exe i think you have normal log because you are testing only one account
Same thing with multiple accounts If anyone has a tf2idle_exceptions.txt file in the same folder as TF2Idle.exe that would be useful.
I don't have a tf2idle_exceptions.txt at all :/ I'm running on W7 x64 if that helps.
I don't have a tf2idle_exceptions.txt at all :/
That means the program isn't throwing any exceptions then. Hmmm puzzling. I'm at a loss as to why this is happening.
Same thing with multiple accounts
if more than five, may depend on this?
If anyone has a tf2idle_exceptions.txt
i don't have. maybe there is some other way for turn on debug mode?

I idle 15 accounts daily and I'm experiment the same behavior using the latest version, only the craft tools are logged, sometimes a few crates and weapons but that's it. I have my polling rate for drops in 1 minute if there is any difference.
Hey I have a semi-offtopic question. I tried making a 2nd idle account premium, but the payment isn't going through. Do I need to get multiple visa gift cards or something? Is there a way to do this online?
I idle 15 accounts daily and I'm experiment the same behavior using the latest version, only the craft tools are logged, sometimes a few crates and weapons but that's it. Are any weapons logged between craft items logged?
Ok a question. Is the last item logged a weapon or one of the craft items? Are any weapons logged between craft items logged?
Sometimes there is one item or two in between but is rare, so far has only logged the craft tools and crates. I reduced the number of accounts doing idle at the same time but still the same problem, only logs the craft tools since apparently is the last item dropped. EDIT: Here is a picture of one item logged after several hours Let me know if you have a debug build, I can help doing testing to find the issue.
Alright, if anyone wants to help me debug this then please download and run this compiled TF2Idle.exe for one of their logging sessions. It will produce a file called drop-log.log in the same folder. After you have finished idling and collected data, please send me the contents of the file so I can see what is happening. You can replace the names of your accounts in the log file if you wish.
Gonna run that tonight with a brand new account for ya :)
Gonna run that tonight with a brand new account for ya :)
Thanks :)
F2P accounts log the drops as normal.. as there not getting the lint, goldfish etc..Im guessing the double drops will finish soon anyway.. and as such will log as normal
I've been doing this on 2 accounts for about 2 hours now, but found nothing (I haven't played TF2 in a long time so its not the drop cap). Would this be the cause or is it just bad luck? [editline]25th June 2012[/editline] Hm. I'm getting drops now but only the new tools (banana peel etc) are showing up in the log Any idea how to fix this? (If I view my backpack on TF2items it shows weapons have dropped too but this won't log them for whatever reason.)
Here's my drop log :/ http://pastebin.com/eF4rgSuq
I've sent you a PM with my droplog. I also noticed a lot of Failed to Log.
Hi guys. One of my 3 accounts (and it's premium, not f2p like the other two) has broken. After "Executing listen server config file listenserver.cfg" I get errors: But this is only with idle.cfg. When I remove idle.cfg everything is fine except RAM usage. It's weird, because my other two accounts works fine with idle.cfg and the same settings.
Just confirming once again that the drop log works fine for me. I can see all items being dropped with the lastest version of TF2Idle. Moussekateer, i have another suggestion to improve the application. Could you make status icon's on each account button that displays if either steam or TF2 is running for that account? Right now i use Sandboxie to check that but it would be nice to have it all in one interface.
Moussekateer, I sent you a PM, let me know if you got it since I got no confirmation at all
Thanks ric20007, Bort and Yo_D for the logs. Going through them now. Edit: Ok I've narrowed down the issue but I need slightly more information to pinpoint why it's happening. I don't want to upload another fixed version without knowing exactly why it happens. I've recompiled another version that will reveal all. If someone could run it again over an idling session that would be great.
Thanks for working on this. I have put another batch to idle using the new build, I send you the log later tonight.

I just need to see one error though, so you don't have to leave it overnight. Edit: I think I've found the issue but I just need someone to confirm with the above recompiled program.
Check your PM Moussekateer
Hi again. Working with tf2idle long time already (launching 23 acc per group), so few words about drop list. Log colours a bit useless option. I can use it sometimes to check if drop failed/stopped for some account, but still 2-3 acc per colour (can't manage various due to high amount). Would be better to use it for different drop types like crates/weps/hats/tools/miscs. Not sure its bad for 1-5 logged acc's, but when there 250+ lines difficult to navigate. Also salvaged crates still not showed in log.
Alrighty, thanks guys I've got this! Running a fixed version on my accounts overnight just to make sure it's all working and then I'll release it tomorrow.
Hi again. I'll look into this salvaged crates issue
But if i toggle off weps and crates they wont even count below. Or will? And why you did same counter for misc and hats?
But if i toggle off weps and crates they wont even count below. Or will? And why you did same counter for misc and hats?
Not sure what you mean there. There are separate counters for all the different item types so I'm not sure what you mean by 'won't even count below'? I count miscs and hats as one item because they're effectively one type of item: Cosmetics. The only difference between them is where they go on your head :P
I'm not sure what you mean by 'won't even count below'?
Also as i said, if i turn off wep and crates i wont be noticed when drop cap will be reached.
