Cancel the validation, go into steam > library > properties > then defrag files. It may take 2 tries or so, but that's how you fix it. It seems to effect only a percentage of players after just about any update. Sadly, I'm one of them too. Hey, thanks mate! i got my accounts up and running finally, this was the only bit that got me.

Once i hit this tisse i conduse a lot becasue i got ~20 acc to do, each acc have validate-OMG...
My solution in that times is copy all the SOURCE STEAM(main steam) into the COPY one, and it work :-s
Now i'm know the defag way, nice to know and thank to you :X
Being a casual, I just want to idle with 1 account, does anyone have a tutorial for only 1 account?
Hi - this is a fantastic tool that has saved me many hours of time over the past few months. Thank you for creating it.
One suggestion - can we have multiple account launch delays? For example, I don't use a delay when I select multiple accounts and then "start steam." However, I use a delay of several minutes when I "start idling."

Just put in launch arguments when starting TF2 through Steam, ex. "+exec idle.cfg -novid -nosound -textmode -windowed -noborder -w 640 -h 480 +map itemtest"

i dont it's possible,there might be a way to make account retry unlimited times,but with multi accounts,it may lag and possibly froze your computer in minutes.
You should resolve the issue why server disconnects,since mine almost never makes a problem.

Yup no problem. I personally have 100 accounts so it takes almost all night :(
anyone knows is there a way for me to upgrade as many tf2 premium account as i can without having the problem of 2 account per one card problem?? i have tried to use paypal that link with my card and it wont let me upgrade more than 2 account... any other way?

Because you can only have 32 players max.
Every time I click "Start Idling" it opens Steam, tries to login, then returns the error, "Could not connect to Steam network. This could be due to lack of internet connection..." etc.
Any help?

And yes, I did check within Sandboxie to make sure that intrnet access was enabled.
Is this program still being worked on.. would be good if there was a way of scaling the size of the boxes to the length of the account names to fit more accounts in the interface.. especially for lower resolutions displays. It would also need the coloums row going above 5
example below.. if it scaled.. could fit 3 account buttons in that space of 1

open tf2idle.ini and look for ui_no_of_columns = 5, rewrite 5 for whatever number you want
Done that already, although it resets if you ever need to go into the options.. and the rescaling of the boxes cant be altered in the ini unfortunately

Do you know if it is possible to add a button to defrag selected accounts? Every thursday we get an update and I need to defrag every account before using it. It's a real pain to tell ya the truth. I haven't idled for 7 days since I haven't had the time to defrag manually.
It's sth really simple but annoying,can you add "Select none" button if that is easy as it sounds?

Can you try using "Defraggler" to defrag complete computer after update? I'm using this program and havent had that problem since.It may take like 12 hours if it's first time use but if you use it daily,doesnt take more than 15-20 minutes.

I've had this working for a few weeks now. Steam recently started giving me shit to "verify" (updating?) my TF2 files. I've let it happen multiple times and it still makes me do it every time. Why is it making me do this so much? Even on my main account this happens.
