Happens to me and my friend too, annoying as hell. The only way to fix this is to redownload TF2 on every account, and that's only until the next TF2 update comes out, then it'll validate all the time again.
That really sucks. I am not sure if I want to idle anymore if it's this much work! Maybe VALVe is trying to cut down on idlers in order to ramp down TF2 so they can pave the way for TF3 lol.

Hey, so I'm getting Could not connect to Steam network, and Not enough space for the game when trying to log into an account in sandboxie.
Drop rights is unchecked.
All programs should have access to the internet.
At this point both hard drive roots are in the full access category.
What more can I troubleshoot here?
I also posted in a different thread for [I]only[/I] sandboxie idling, but I would assume that people here aren't reading that actively, and it seems to be a weird problem that many people have

Fixed by JUST giving sandboxie full rights to the steamapps directory, NOTHING else, as suggested by Gamemaster1379.

you don't have to download it again, backup tf2, and then restore it, takes around 20 minutes

So I should turn off updating via the Steam settings for each account? Will I still receive items while using an out of date game client?
Also, backup? I'm not sure how that would work with these types of alt accounts..
Edit: It is not working at all now. It completes validation and restarts again whenever I try to start the game- even on my main account!

Defraggler doesn't defrag GCF's the same way steam does it.

Is there any way that you could add an option to change the number of cores each account runs on? Like have 3 accounts on core 1, and another 3 on core 2?
Is there a reason why my drops don't show up in the drop log? I know I'm getting them, but it's not notifying me.
Any chance for a timer/time limit for idlers? Or a queue? Tell it to start idling these 5 accounts, 1 at a time, 8 hours each, that kind of thing.

Damn Just a few weeks ago i could upgrade how many accounts i wanted using the same card through paypal, but now its not working anymore , i had planned to upgrade many and could only add funds to 2, then the error, ( an unexpected error has occurred ) appears , is there any workaround for this with the same card ?,

That shit's annoying me a lot, I keep getting it on my second alt every time.

Maybe 18 acc (running 9 acc every week) is not a lot, but still it takes a lot of time to idle on them, with this validating issue :/

backup tf2 files (make sure client is up to date), remove tf2, restore tf2 from a steam backup files, now you should idle without any problems, next time make sure you don't update tf2 using a sandboxed steam
Does anyone else feel kind of insecure with the way you add accounts? I mean, you have to give them your password and stuff... and when you write in the password field you can actually see the text..
I'm sure with all of you guys downloading it and using it there is no problems whatsoever but I just find it kind of weird..

I'm idling with only one account. I can see when you need multiple accounts but with just one account and steam being open to shouldn't it just automatically start tf2 easy peasy? I don't care, I just find it kinda funky (for no real reason since no one has reported stolen accounts on this thread despite there being over a thousand posts)

my post was about a steam login button is not possible and you have an option to encrypt cfg file.
Still paranoid? Do not use logging feature and cut connection to internet of the program (use your firewall) and you are golden.

I have an issue i need help with, i asked about this for a few months ago, but never really got any answear and it solved itself, but now its back and it dosn't seem to go away, so i need help!.
The thing is when i start TF2Idle it starts up witout any problem but now for some reason when i try to add a few more accounts , and closing the application, and start it again, i am asked to enter a decryption key,
and i never choosed one so i can't start it, to get it to open again i need to head to the txt and restore it a few hours back ,
then it starts up , so i try again but it wont work, i have tried enter a password but it still dosn't work,
Have anyone encounter something like this ?, Do anyone know any fix?,
I have also tried from scratch but when i add accounts (that worked before) it still gives me this "error" , Please anyone?,

funny enough I solved it myself , ^^ only had to start steam(in sandbox) with the new accounts i added and then it worked, still dont know why i was asked to enter the decryption key though, wierd.
