Shouldn't it be "C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\Steam.exe"?
I'm guessing that is why it cant find the file specified.

Can you snip that picture, please?

Just copy the steam.exe to that folder, and then make a symbolic link of the steamapps folder.
YOu can follow the instructions from the github page :)

He just needs to have the steam.exe in that folder, the \ or / doesn't matter for this.

Where did you put the backup copy of the Steam folder? You should enter that path in each accounts settings as the sandbox path, not the path to the sandboxie installation.

The program uses the Steam API to get your backpack from Valves servers. The program uses this to monitor your backpack for drops for the log viewer. The instructions on getting your API key are in the README.
Released version 1.1.0. Changelog found in OP

That console looks fine.
Have you entered your vanity ID for each account in its settings? For example my steam community profile is found at http://steamcommunity.com/id/moussekateer therefore my vanity ID is moussekateer.
Have you selected the accounts you want to monitor, switched to the log view and clicked add accounts? Did the message 'Started logging <account>' show up after a few seconds?
yep but i've never seen any 'Started logging <account>' message :/
i saw my accounts added in the log view, that's all.

When you say 'i saw my accounts added in the log view' what do you mean? Does a file called 'tf2idle_exceptions.txt' show up in the same folder as tf2idle.exe?
Gonna need a video tutorial or something because i am dirt stupid when it comes to this.
I get everything done, but it doesnt launch tf2 :J
I get everything done, but it doesnt launch tf2 :J
Any errors? Does a file called 'tf2idle_exceptions.txt' show up in the same folder as tf2idle.exe? what happens?
So any reason why when I press start steam it doesn't start up? My stuff is put in correctly.
So any reason why when I press start steam it doesn't start up? My stuff is put in correctly.
Nothing happens? No errors? You sure all the correct fields are filled in the program settings and account settings?
So I didn't realize this until I actually went to play TF2 that this completely fucked up my settings. Now the game by default loads in 640 by 480 and I'm not sure how to get around that.
E: On further review the only thing it did was fuck with the default setting for size. I ended up hardcoding the settings for my monitor in the launch options so it's working now.
I think i solved it. It was going for the wrong steam directory. Fuck.
[editline]10th February 2012[/editline]
But now TF2Idle is not responding. It did launch TF2 though
Oh and all in these carnage , i forgot to tell you that its a great program mousekateer. Thank you.

I saw the name of my 4 accounts in the chat log view when i clicked on "add accounts"

And yes, there is a file called tf2idle_exceptions.txt but this is what i can read in it :
type = <type 'exceptions.WindowsError'>
value = [Error 2] Le fichier spécifié est introuvable
(can't find the file)
Edit :
It works now, don't know why... ( reboot ) ?

Holy Unusual Orbitings Cows Milkman!
How the heck did you get 18 items in 14 hrs? Damn...
I leave my accs opened for 12hrs max and I never got past 11-12.
That idle item number speculation is out the window.
If you didnt reach your drop cap in the preceeding week you generally get more in the current week.
Ye... but not 8 items from last week :P
That means the previous week rakkie got 2-3 items, then quit and waited for the next week.
Fail logic pretty much...
now It says to enter a dycryption key when i start it up, but i haven't??

Have you messed around with the tf2idle.ini file? It assumes the file is encrypted if it can't read it properly. Open it up and see if there's something wrong with it.
[editline]10th February 2012[/editline]
Version 1.1.1 is up. Fixed a bug with saving the item id to text file which prevented saving the log file at all.
I still cant get this to work. It doesnt put me in idel, it doesnt say anything at all :/

Take a screenshot of your settings screen and your accounts settings screen and black out the sensitive information.
I have one account that validate files each time i'm starting idling on it, then steam server error :/
It was working great i didn't change anything.
My 3 other accounts are fine though

Give it a thorough clean out. Delete the sandbox contents, go to your primary and secondary steam installs and delete the \steamapps\<account> folder.
