What are you copy pasting? I just select the accounts i want to view and click the backpack button and they open in individual tabs in my browser.
Ive been copying and pasting the account names in the website one by one .. at least your way seems alot quicker.. tabbing between loads of accounts could be crazy:)..
It would be amazing if tf2idle managed to be more automated. launched one client at a time and looked for the errors such as 'game not available' etc and retried and then moved onto the next account loading.... its annoying having to retry over and over for a few accounts.. you cant walk away and have them all connect to the server without relaunching a few... Then check against last item drop to stop idling and launch another account in the waiting of set max idles at one time:)

Launching 30 acc groups and going sleep each day last 6 month, no disconnects, no problems with loading, no retries. Only problem is sudden TF2 patch, but any auto-shit wont help against it.

The automated process would be awesome, you could set up the max number of accounts and it would create a queue those accounts and then it launched one by one (or 2 or 3 at a time) until every account is idling with no errors.
And one account is done idling (has not seen a drop for over X minutes) it would remove it from the queue and add another, keeping the queue with a proper amount of accounts.

i5 (i3 would be enough) / 16gb
Other specs not affecting at all.

Not using it.
I finaly FOUND A FIX FOR "VALIDATING GAME CACHE FILES" !!!!
First of all, you start tf2 on your main account - if it works and you can play - good. Just quit the game like you normaly do.
Then you go to Library >>> and press RMB on TF2 then Backup Game Files...
Make backup of tf2. After that, go to yours Idle acounts steamapps folder (folder you have mlinked to before) and CUT every gcf file in there (should be 13 files) http://scr.hu/0eva/egjoo and put theme in some other folder (doesnt matter what folder, just not steamapps).
Then go to your tf2 backup folder, right click it and run in sandbox (any idle account sandbox).
Install TF2 through that and voila - TF2 should launch on every account without validating! If it is working correctly you can delete gcfs you have previously cut - it's a waste of disk space.
This is the only solution that have worked. I have defragged and optimized my entire disk. I have deleted every file except Steam.exe and steamapps folder. I have done many, many things but only this have worked (I suppose that you could just re-download instead but backup might be faster if you have slower Internet connection).
I have tested it and I can idle with my main account on and my Idle accounts running in the background.
Let me know if it worked!
How many accounts you have?
50 but i've only been idling with 40 because of time and can't play games without lag while I idle.
and you ?

More columns, same size, looks terrible.

Dont tell me you idle with 1 acc at time.
Aha, try this version
Perfect scaling in both directions.
Dont tell me you idle with 1 acc at time.
I only idle when i'm on the computer so it reduces the time I have in a week to get my drops and if I want to play I have to stop the idling. (14 to 21 accounts at a time)
Any suggestions besides idling at night ?
Will the item logging still work if the idling isn't launched via TF2Idle?
I still can't figure it out, nothing is showing up, no text file nothing.
It just shows hl2.exe in the processes but it ain't idling, anyway on how to fix it?
Send me a friend request, ill be on in an hour.

yes
Sorry to sound like a noob but I have recentely started using this (yesterday) and was playing around with it abit and added 10 accounts. When I came back to it today none of them accounts are there and all my settings have gone...do I have to save it somewhere down the line? i didn't see anything about that in the tutorials and with the 10 accounts I made they all worked perfectly fine :L. Thanks in advance and I look forward to getting this fixed and idling again.

Sometimes when you the program does not close as it should, it will not save the changes.
Try to close it the normal way and not terminate the process or let it crash.

Thanks for the response I will let you know how it goes but I didn't crash it or terminate it in the first place so that's why I'm so confused.
I have seen this issue (image below) put up a lot but with no real way of fixing it. I have 522 GB free space and must have my sandboxes set up correctly as it worked prefectly fine with my first alt and still does, it's just all the ones after that.

Would it be possible to increase the column limit to 20 in a future update?
Would it be possible to increase the column limit to 20 in a future update?
Agree. Wanted to try 15 columns for 2 strings per group.

Yes can do, though the thought of a row of 20 accounts scares me a little

Well, 15 boxes with 3 letter names occupy less than 1000, its around 50% 24" monitor.

Ohhhh. I saw this fix somewhere else, but they didn't say to delte ALL of those gfc's, i thought it was just the one's with teamfortress 2 in the name.
Thanks for the clarification, the backup is installing now, and i'm gonna assume its gonna work, so thanks man.
