Anybody know anything about this error? Haven't seen it been discussed in the last page or two, so I figure it's a unique issue to me, and not an update related thing?
Wasn't happening last week...
Is there a special config/setting when using cleanmem and idle? I start use it in my PC but after a few minutes the idle accs are disconnected from server.
Edit:

Meh, I guess cleanmem is just fake, hl2.exe had less than 15 MB per acc. and around 100 MB for the server, but in the performance monitor the RAM is the same, my thoughts are that cleanmem is finishing some useful process to keep the acc connected to the server
If you don't meddle with Cleanmem's task schedule, it will free up memory. When I run 26 accounts w/o Cleanmem I hit 90% of 12 GB RAM. When I use cleanmem I still hit 90% but after 4-5 hrs I'm back to 40-50%.. after 10 hours - 29-30%.

I have a question of something i've been noticing lately.
Has anyone had an issue where say you Idle 3 accounts. 1 is the server, the other 2 connect to the server. They all get drops but one account gets fewer than others .. after hours of no drops.. I close one of the accounts (not the server) and the "fewer than others" account gets a drop. Almost 10 seconds after I closed the other one. Almost as if the other account was "blocking" drops.
This has happened twice to me in the past 2 days. Here's a view of that.

You can see the yellow account stopped having drops ages ago.. then I closed an account and it suddenly got a weapon and a crate to drop. ????
also there is nothing unusual on the tf2 idle window. It just says "Connection to game coordinator established" and Current Item Schema up to date etc...
Can i play other valve games while tf2 is idling?
Sorry for bad english =D
I have a question. How exactly does the drop log work? I used an API key from my main account but the drops never worked for all accounts. Probably 3-4 accounts out of 20. I wanna know how to fully configure this.
Secondly, this is such a great application but I just get frustrated due to the lack of a simple scroll feature. It gets messy when you have a lot of accounts. Can the devs please look into this?

Are you getting any errors in the drop log?
Are you getting any errors in the drop log?
Yes, there was some sort of error in the log but I don't exactly remember, as it was a few weeks ago. I just removed the API key since then.

most likely you entered the wrong vanity ID for the idlers that didn't work(as if one idler has worked, there's nothing wrong with the api key)

I know what you mean, but don't count the crate to the timer of the standard weapons, tools and hats. Sometimes when I idle with 20+ accounts, 10-15 are getting the drops fine but the rest only one or two and then they don't. What I do is I restart the last account (any other would work too I guess) and just when I close it dozens of drops begin to show up - not all but after than all 20+ accounts begin getting drops regularly. At first I thought this was happening because of the too many accounts, but now I'm not sure.

All the vanity IDs are set correctly. That's how I check my backpacks after idling.
I've added my API key to the settings again and started idling new accounts. I'll post the result tomorrow.

Yes.. if the IDs are wrong, it will just give an ID error. I haven't had any issues with drops but the one mentioned above (Post 1911). I know, though, sometimes Steam can just act very strange, not TF2Idle's fault. I created a new test account 2 days ago and it got a drop only today, after 48+ hours in TF2Idle with numerous account/server restarts. The basic advice is always: Good luck.
Well, this time, not even 1 drop from 25 accounts got logged. It just doesn't work.

That doesn't seem right. Not even in Steam's worst days. All logs ok ? Server log ok too?
EDIT.. I now remembered that some of my accounts acted weird the day (and specially a few hours before the reset - which is in 3-4 hours).. There's a good chance you will get more drops from Thursday onward.. Some of my accounts that didn't get anything or just 1 to 3 drops that week got 15-20 the next. Good luck!
Oh my god, what's with this new update.
I hit start on 10 accounts and only three of them open up and immediately start downloading/verifing cache, never to actually load TF2.
Anyone else having trouble?

Always open only the account that actually has TF2 installed first.
Otherwise every instance will try to update the same files, and clusterfucks ensue
So after loosing connection to steam servers and reconnecting you still get drops?
Can anyone confirm it? Cause it seems like it for me...
Yes, after reconnecting you still get drops. Although that doesn't mean it works for everyone i think because everyone has different network products at home. For instance if i reboot my D-Link router while i'm idling they lose connection but simply reconnect after the link is back up and get their drops again.

Doesn't work for me.
Every 12 hours or so I lose connection (dynamic IP) and stop getting drops after that, although it says it reconnects.
Anyone has any clue how to not update 9000 steams? Do you have to wait for each acc to update?

I think he's asking about the steam update not validating files.
I have 1 steam folder for each account and it took some time for all to update
Does anyone have a better steam setup idea ?

Update one, copy the folder to other accounts.
Warning! You'll hit steam guard

That was what happened to me, and I can't have 1 steam folder for all accounts because it gives alot of errors
You gonna update this for steam pipe? as TF2 and CSS are moving to it.
You gonna update this for steam pipe? as TF2 and CSS are moving to it.
I don't think that's going to affect functionality of this program at all
Since the last steam update i've been getting accounts that are stuck right on starting up when it says 'Checking for available update'. Closing the sandbox and starting over helps but at random times it happens again. Anyone else experience this?
i got issue about item logging not show correctly last 2 week. i idle at night and morning it show 3,4 wep drop but truely is ~100 wep drop when i press " swith log view" button agian.
Today got issue " could not download chema" in logging panel
Anyone have same issue as mine?
To answer any questions, in my experience it's been faster to just use the program to launch all the steam accounts with enough time for the update in between each one. If you just update one then copy the files over you hit steamguard, it takes a lot more effort to have to validate steamguard for every account than it does to just let each one update though steam.
If you don't want it to take as long you could theoretically let it update more than one account at once, I've not tried that though.
