could not download item schema happens when you don't have enough bandwith. make sure you don't have other downloads and try to add less then 8 accounts at a time to the log.
And yes i also copy my updated steamfiles from one account to the others, i use extremecopy for this. Make sure you don't copy over the personal files for each account though.
No one else has the 'checking for available update' problem? It happens constantly at my end. Even after removing all files and downloading steam entirely again.
