Yes I have that txt file in my folder, and when a salvaged drops the item name has salvaged in it or just like any other crate ?
Can you paste the contents of the text file somewhere so I can see the error? Yes the item name is 'Salvaged Mann Co. Supply Crate', which is what TF2Idle will display in the drop log.

I've sent you a PM, with the contents of that file.

Hmm the contents aren't that helpful. But that socket errors indicate that you're having connection problems to the web api, probably when Steam goes down. The only situation I can think of where it would not register the crates are
1) if you're trading on the accounts as the newest item would change
2) Your backpack polling interval is high and you found more than one item between the polling times.
The 2nd is an unavoidable consequence of how the program works, as every time it polls the backpack it looks for the item with the highest item id and if it is different to the last check it considers it a drop. I could make the program store the entire backpack but this becomes more complex and the program would use a lot more memory.
If Steam kept the dropped items in the 'unplaced' backpack positions (like it used to reliably) this would have been easy, but for the last few months I notice it randomly just drops items into the backpack of its own accord. Sorry for the long explanation
Thanks for the explanation, I wasn't trading at the time so it must have been the 2nd one.
The program is great the way it is right now, I was just "unlucky" maybe next time I drop a salvaged crate  i'll be able to see it in the log.
Can you add to options launching steam's in /low priority?
Hi, I would like to request a feature:
The ability to launch a program (example: an item manager) with the sandbox of the account selected.
In the options we could set the location of the item manager, then we select the accounts to launch (example: 1, 2 and 4)
we click on the icon (needs to be added to tf2idle) and it opens the item manager on the sandboxes of the accounts that we selected.
It would save a lot of time because some times I need to craft weapons on multiple accounts.

I'll look into these
That Steam.exe is your primary steam.exe. You point to each accounts steam.exe in the individual account settings. Try launching one at a time to see if they launch properly
so euhm the steam.exe from my original steam folder, the one I copied. so c/programfiles/steam ?

Yep. This is purely for the copy gcfs over function
How to set up the parameters for each account? Because i want to run 1 account as a server and others will be connected to server with different parameters.

Currently there isn't a way to set unique idling parameters for each account. I'll look into this feature.
Just wanted to chime in and say thanks for the awesome program Mouse. I was able to flawlessly convert from using M.A.I.D. to this program. Looking forward to future versions.
i can't download it

As far as improvements go, this really should be at the top of the list. Server/Client setup is an absolute must have.
Is there any assortment for group list?

Looks like they are not variable (first created > last created)
i can't download it
Care to elaborate? I don't see an issue with Github?

Why can you not connect to the steam servers sandboxed? There shouldn't be an issue if you're sandboxed or not.
It is not important if idle.cfg is missing, I accidently added that start up parameter to the default options.
Can you tell me how to and set up tf2idle.exe and sandboxie?
Working great for me. Thank you for this wonderful piece of software! Now I can idling twelve accounts is much easier. :downs:

Because fuck figuring it out on your own!

This is actually for delta echo's program, but everything transfers over to TF2idle completely.

Please have a look through the instructions first at least.

Yep

Works fine ...
... but my clients are kicked :D
Its only me, or "account launch delay" not working if steam's started before you press "Start idling"? Abit useless option, coz sometimes steam can ask code from mail or just fail while connecting.

Put +mp_idledealmethod 0 in the launch options
