Agreed. It's definitely for preordering Portal 2. But seems small for the $50 preorder. I'm sure they're just teasing for now.

I'm starting to get a little angry with Valve, they've been half-assing things put into this game for far too long. Like right now, how hard could it have been to;
A: Make a viewmodel that isn't shite, as well as make a new sound.
B: Not overlook the fact that those items were dropping and craftable. They fixed it slowly so I assume that someone was too lazy to check the box that said "Uncraftable/Undroppable"/whatever.
I think cosmetic weapons are even more useless than cosmetic wearable gear. Really, Valve should give the Iron Curtain and spy watch unique stats.

Sure, they're useless, but it would be even worse to give gameplay benefits to items that basically need to be bought. I know the game is cheap, and that the weapons can still be traded for, but that's not that easy for a lot of people, especially for those who don't play regularly.
Fuck yeah let's make actual game-changing elements purchase-only.
I think everyone needs to stop getting so pissy with valve and repect them for even sticking with tf2 for so long. If you want to play a pure half assed game go and play some cod, and prepare to pay for updates.
I just noticed the Iron Curtain looks surprisingly nice in game.
They aren't limited because you can always get the items by playing the poker game.

Polycount hats. They aren't completely purchase only, but be prepared to pay, dish out a good portion of your inventory, or sit and pray for any of them.

If i could trade the polycount hats i bought with the pack, since i wanted the weapons, i would, i just dont like most of them except for maybe 2.
I'm pretty sure that Valve makes new sounds for weapons that you have to distuinguish each other apart.
Lugermorph and Big Kill didn't have new sounds because they are skins of the pistol and revolver, same as Iron Curtain.
