I was playing on one of their servers on pl_cashworks because they were pretty much the only ones running it at the time. I had just ended an epic bottling spree as a demomen and typed "IMMA BLACK SCOTTISH CYCLOPS" in the game chat. I instantly got BANNED with the reason "racism".
I assume that eGO admins are legally retarded, because that's one of the most memorable lines from Meet the Demoman. I go "whatever" and head to their website to send an unban request. I type in a respectable message along with a link to Meet the Demoman on youtube, which has the line in question in it.
After a few hours, an admin replies and tells me that I was banned for racism and must serve the full 48 hour duration of the ban. I hardcore rage but politely respond by telling him that the word "black" isn't racist if the word "white" isn't. He didn't respond, but unbanned me.
I played for about another hour before getting permabanned. Angry message with naughty words and disgusting pictures was posted on forum, many lulz were had.

Also it's worth mentioning that a majority of their admins are absolutely terrible at the game.
And by donating you're pretty much guaranteed to be admin'd.

Most of their kicks/rules are completely unjustified. The fact that they don't allow swears in an M-rated game says something right there.

I've been anywhere near an eGo server, and I damn sure won't be now. I've seen some bad servers in M rated games before, but just from the descriptions I'm getting from other people, those are pretty shitty servers.

I wonder if you can get banned for engie camping the intel room, chances are, yes.
Happened to us once, we were all trolling them after an easy win (they were unable to capture on account of their intel room being full of sentries.) All of us were kick (can remember the server) so one guy bound a key to automatically say that our group was the best and that they were far from the perpendicular.
I say we raid eGo just for the fun of it. Remember when that eGo admin muscled in on facepunch and tried to ban us for cussing? (happened twice if i recall.) Lets give them a taste of their own medicine.
Ill ask the TF2 mod team to make "Coolface" spy masks just for the occasion.
I'd do it if you get large enough a following.
