I don't get what the hate is all about. Ive been playing on the blackmesa server for awhile.... until people stopped caring.... never saw a negative thing there.

It's not like 30 idiots with mics and HLSS are going to bring down literally one of the largest gaming clans in existence. What are you trying to prove? My problem with them is their hypocrisy. Their whole clan is a hypocrisy, right down to their name.
Their claims are:
~ They are a mature respectable gaming community
~ They are the only sponsored clan and one of the biggest gaming communities.
~ They have family fun servers
First of all, there is nothing respectable of mature about having huge egos, and they do believe they are better than everyone else because they are "above" bad words.
Their rules seems strict, and people tend to associate strict rules with good admins, but their admins absolutely suck. I remember back when I played PVK2, their server was the only one with people. I was talking on my mic, just chatting about life and stuff and I get banned for "Cheating" with no warning. Then I post a ban appeal, and apparently I was banned for disobeying admins, which is weird, because I don't remember admins saying anything to me. They may have posted in regular text, but that stuff is very hard to pay attention to. I get my ban repealed, and I play and I get banned again, for the same reason. I post another ban appeal, and at this time, I was pretty angry. I blamed it on their poor admining techniques. Then they start calling me names and saying that I didn't deserve another chance.
Aside from that, their players are not the "role models" they claim. I used to be part of G-project, a garrysmod education server primarily. One of their members came in a minged up the server. I then went and reported him to their forums, stating that his actions reflected his clan's reputation. They basically brushed me off, saying he was part of another faction or something.
They also claim to be the only sponsored gaming community because of their swear filters.
No they are not.
When they say "sponsored" they are probably reffering to the 12 year olds and peadophiles that play on their servers literally throwing money at them. No self respecting company would sponsor a group for games that try and trademark their name.
I once had admin on all their servers, then they took it away because I didn't ban anyone for anything and I'd tell admins under me to shut up and quit whining when someone was breaking their rules. True fuckin' story.
Come to think of it my whole time there was spent doing seditious acts of sedition.

Seriously, i've played on their servers for 2 years(not so much now, because my ping is so high), and i've never ever seen someone get banned for dominating an admin. Nor have I seen people banned for saying "damn, crap" etc. If you say or do something that is against the rules 99%, of the admins will warn you first. "Lol, I was banned for dominating an admin", please come up with a better excuse. If you were banned with no warning, it was either a new admin(unexperienced), or it might have been rather chaotic on the server.

Also, I'm really tempted to start playing in =eGo= (OH GOD I CAN'T REMEMBER HOW TO DO THE TRADEMARK THING WILL I GO TO COURT?! D:) servers and recording all that goes on as I play, since tankkiller here seems to be in disbelief about these ban claims.

If you don't like the server rules, don't play there. It's not a difficult concept. eGO exists because some people out there would rather play without hearing people swearing and yelling at each other the entire game. And we all know little kids play this game. Don't pull the DEY SHUDNT PLAI DIS GAEM BCUZ ITS M because you know damn well you played M games when you were a kid even if you weren't supposed to. They're basically there to provide a more "wholesome" gaming environment. Most people don't agree with that, and I get it. But a lot of people do still like it, so why the hell do you care?
