Wait for the Portal Soundtrack promo... Genuine Companion Cube
so afew days ago I emailed the Tf2 team about How the heavy was using the robot heavy fists animation, showed them pictures and a video of it, so they fixed it, Guess it shows if you email The Tf2 team they actually Pay attention to the emails.
this cannot be stressed enough
the community needs to stop assuming because everyone in the community knows, that Valve knows. When a bug hasn't been fixed in awhile, email them it!

I know about tons of bugs, but I don't feel like hitting their inboxes with a machinegun of emails, but at the same time, I know that if I send them a wall of bugs in a single email, they will simply pass over it since it's daunting.
Baby steps, I suppose.

A few every week?
A cool promo would have been you got an Unusual Brigade/Glengarry with a Random effect
A cool promo would have been you got an Unusual Brigade/Glengarry with a Random effect
Haha, let's not go that far.

Machinegun all the major bugs you know about. After the next patch, machinegun them the ones they didn't fix. Repeat until a vast majority are fixed.
At least that's how I'd go about doing it.
At the very least, focus on the really annoying bugs, like all the ones related to the Pomson.
Laziest fucking promo ever
Machinegun no crouching in humiliation mode. Please and thanks.

But then people will complain about the unusual market and bla bla bla. Plus valve would be losing money.

you know you can email them? :P
genuine brigade helmet is a lazy promo
Valve in a nutshell.
Is not a great surprise.
YES They fixed the melee animations thank you valve
Machinegun no crouching in humiliation mode. Please and thanks.
Ones that bother me right now:
Non-crouching humiliation
Dispenser textures/UV not matching up
Red-Tape Recorder nerf that never actually went into effect on Sentries, it seems to work on other buildings
Vaccinator's lack of crit resistance
Flying Guillotine critting in circumstances where the victim isn't actually stunned.
Caber being Caber
Loose Cannon not minicritting when reflected
That's a rather small list, right? I don't want to make it too big :v:
radial cloak meters not working right, ever, is one I emailed them about awhile ago and isn't fixed yet
Size for the TF2 update is ~175 MB
Size for changes that apply to GMod is ~10 MB (and it appears to be intact)

You might want to do a bit of research before saying such stupid things.
Now all makes sense: they made the first hats not droppable/craftable/buyable and those included the Bonnet and the Brigade. Now they make those 2 hats a promo but in genuine quality. Trust me, they may look shitty but they will rise in price like the rest of the promos.
The first nine hats:
Fancy Fedora, Mining Light, Trophy Belt, Football Helm, Soldier's Stash, Batter's Helmet, Pyro's Beanie, and Demo Fro.

Except the brigade helm and bonnet are still drop craft uncrate and buyable, the fro and the beanie are not.

I don't consider them to be shitty, they are some of the better looking hats out there.
I don't get it, you guys get mad when the Robo Sandvich comes out because it's only available with the promo, but when it's something that everyone can get you call it the laziest promo ever.

Stupid? I did a mistake but mate, I edited my post.

The hate for the Robo Sandvich was because that most people can't get their hands on it unless you went to E3 or you bought it in the 30 second gap that they were in the store before they sold out.
And I don't mind that the promos are the hats, they are good looking hats. I would have preferred a genuine flamethower or a genuine gernade/stickybomb launcher. But I got the figure for the figure, not the promo.
I have to admit, the lack of unique promotional items for the figures do disappoint, but seeing as I bought the figures because I've wanted TF2 toys, it's not that upsetting. I will get what I really wanted and paid for in two weeks time.
Though I do have to speculate how the Robo-Sandvich's exclusivity might have affected these, if at all. The only real fault of that instance was not making the free item available after the promotional period, which could have been done so easily. Now we're getting items that have been in the game for three years in a rarer quality, which comes off as lazy. It's especially odd as unique promotional items for products that are roughly £/$20 aren't unheard of.
I don't think the problem is exclusive items themselves, it's just the inability for people to get a fair chance to own them though alternative means from the promotion and I don't really see this as a solution for the problem, even if I am getting the toys for the sake of the toys.
Well uhm... What does the Heavy's meleewalk look like? I seriously forgot.

I'm pretty sure Gmod isn't affected by TF2 engine updates anymore.

While yes, that was (supposed) to happen, it apparently didn't for whatever reason (probably something to do with steampipe).
